We are a family of four that enjoy spending off-season time at our cabin. We live an hour away from the cabin so we are easily accessible.
The Owner purchased this cabin in 2007
We love spending family time in Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. The beauty of the area is indescribable--from the snow capped mountain view in winter to the harem of elk that visit in the fall. We purchased the cabin to have a place to create some wonderful family memories. We hope your family can create memories there too!
Our cabin is located a very short distance from both downtown and RMNP. At our cabin you enjoy the rusticness of the mountains but the convenience of being close to shopping and downtown. It is the perfect retreat!
This lovely cabin is a great location to be your base to explore RMNP and Estes Park. It's located on the west side of Estes Park on the road to one of the RMNP visitor centers and entry points. It is among a group of cabins located a few hundred feet from the Big Thompson river and there are chairs and a picnic table to sit back with your morning cup of coffee. My wife and I were there with our three year old and it was a perfect size cabin. The kitchen has a good assortment of appliances and utensils that would not limit your ability to cook anything. The cabin is kept very clean. This was our first trip to Estes Park and we look forward to returning and renting this same cabin.
We stayed at the cabin 6/30 through 7/5. Was nervous at first about the noise factor with the cluster of cabins, but we literally did not hear anyone aside from a car door closing every so often. The river is as close as they mentioned and you'll be able to hear it at night with the windows open. We spent a lot of time at the reiver while our 15 month old took her morning naps. The cabin was very clean, and tidy. The beds were comfortable, and place is nicely decorated. The owners were thorough & upfront with the rental process, and there were no gray areas - which we appreciated. We would recommend this place place to anyone, and hope to be back next summer.
This cabin has everything! Great location close to the river, downtown, and RMNP. Very impressed with the fully equiped kitchen and over all condition of the cabin. Would recommend this to anyone one looking for a vacation rental in the Estes Park area.
Hubby and I stayed in this cabin and the owners were helpful with tips on how to best enjoy the area while RMNP was shutdown. Owners responded to our questions promptly and where very patient with our concerns with the recent flooding to the area. Also, within walking distance there was a great BBQ place. Cabin is clean and cute. I would recommend adding little items like hangers in the closet, a runner or rug at the entrance to the living room so our rained on shoes don't get the slate wet, but other than that, had a great time watching the Broncos game thanks to the satellite tv, and had a warm cozy fireplace to drink my tea at the end of a good hike. Thanks for a great first Colorado mountain getaway :)
Newly remodeled cabin very nice, it's too bad we had to cut short our stay due to the weather events (some calling it the 500 yr event) in Estes Park and surrounding area.
We had a wonderful stay at your Estes Park cottage. It was very clean and well decorated. The kitchen was also well stocked. I like the easy access to RMNP and the downtown area. Putting our feet in the Big Thompson River was a treat.
