Sand Dollar will delight you the moment you enter through the fabulous sun porch. This captivating one-bedroom, one bath is in a secluded location in the heart of Gulfport's Art/Beach district. Just 1 1/2 blocks from Williams Pier and sunny Gulfport Beach, this generously landscaped and lit property is private and quiet, yet ideally located in the heart of it all. High ceilings and fourteen windows give this generously proportioned second-floor apartment a very spacious feel. Beautiful double French doors separate the living room and bedroom. The airy, updated bath has a generous shower. Creamy whites in the kitchen and bath compliment the tropical Bamboo Stalk green covering the living and bedroom walls. Wicker and rattan furnishings create lush, tropical beach surroundings.

  • RESERVATION DEPOSITS & FINAL PAYMENT:
    One week or less: $300; balance due 3 weeks prior
    Longer than one week: $500 balance due 60 days prior.

    The deposit may be paid via cash, cashier's check, money order, traveler's checks (US funds only) or Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover, via PayPal. The reservation deposit is applied against the total due.

    CANCELLATIONS:
    Cancellations less than 60 days prior to arrival forfeit all monies paid.
    Cancellations received more than 60 days prior to arrival will result in a refund of the deposit, less a $100 handling fee. Reservations not paid in full prior to final payment due date will be cancelled. No refunds given for early departures.
  • CHANGES: There is a $50 charge for modification of a confirmed reservation.

    PAYMENT: All rates are in US Funds and are payable in US funds.

We travel alot, and rent quite often apartments
because we just love to feel like we live there, and
the way the apartment is decorated, you can easily
feel like its your own house. It is located in the old
Gulfport artstic/bohemian neighborhood. The
kitchen was very well equiped, so for cooking
lovers, you'll find everything you need! The
heating/AC system kept the house's temperature at
the same degree (very efficient). The house was
pretty spacious and we slept very well in the King
size bed! One of our biggest fear in travelling in
Florida, are the cockroaches, or as they call them,
Palmetto bugs. To our wonderful surprise....we
haven't found any! The backyard is huge and pretty,
and you can park one or 2 cars in there!

Wonderful accommodation, very well equipped and maintained. Very quiet and private property with a lovely patio for relaxing. Location is excellent with interesting shops, good restaurants, entertainment,the beach and the dog park very close by. Looking forward to returning next year.

We rented last April and we are returning. We were
apprehensive about renting on line, but everything
turned out to be just perfect-house was clean,
convenient, charming and cared for. Sally couldn't
have been more helpful in getting us settled and
giving us "the lay of the land".

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the "Sand Dollar" during the last week in July. It was everything we could have asked for and more! For such a reasonable price we were offered not only a beautiful house, but wonderful hospitality by the owner, who did everything to make our visit as enjoyable as possible. We certainly would reccommend booking a visit to the Sand Dollar, as we hope to return in the future!
