we spent a late summer week here and had a delightful time! the location on private beach with an expansive deck right on the water is dreamy.surfers and casters dot the waters, sunsets lovely, surf breaking outside your windows.really great. attractive wider, sandier public beach very close by....(might be crowded during high season but wide open early fall)...some beaut sunny breezy days and because of property's position on the ocean was just as lovely (to me) to watch mild nor'easter roll in!...house quite well appointed, they really provide a well stocked kitchen (i like to cook & entertain & was very pleased with facilities & 'tools'..)furniture comfortable, well placed, new...not a mish-mash of hand me downs with questionable history! everything worked...couple who rents house very helpful and engaged in sharing information with you, if one would like..small market (with good meat counter) near by as well as farm stand and a coupla casual bars, good pizza spot...and, of course, really close to block island ferry, newport, excellent day trips..we had 4 full timers and a couple nights of guests...privacy just fine...was a fab week!...would def do again! thanks, dawn
