Villa Barbara is in Pie de la Cuesta, a small town just 8 miles north of Acapulco. A twenty minute ride allows you to get away from the city and enjoy the peace and quiet of this small town. The famous Coyuca Lagoon is in your backyard and provides a great place for all kinds of water sports. This fresh water lagoon is a haven for water skiers and wakeboarders. Ski boats can be arranged on a hourly, daily or weekly basis. The ocean is just a step away and has a long stretch of sandy beach for walks, horseback riding and surf fishing. This newly renovated Villa is fully air conditioned and each room has a private bath and sitting area with view of ocean and pool.

  • Weddings and Parties:
    Villa is available for Weddings and Parties, weekend deal is for arrival on Friday with accommodations for 12 and wedding or party on Saturday night, cost is $3,500.00. Can arrange for longer rental but must contact us for rates.
    Price is just for the rental of Villa, arrangements shown in pictures are at additional cost. Local manager can assist with all arrangements.

Spring Break

My wife and I wanted a relaxing Acapulco Spring Break away form the tourist traps and crazy college kids. Vacationing in Pie de la Cuesta was a perfect location and Villa Barbara provided more then i expected.

Pie de la Cuesta reminds me of those small beach towns in Southern California with water activities on the laguna and plenty of restaurants. The Villa Barbara was comfortable, well maintained, and located on the beach. There was maid service in the morning and security at night. My biggest decision all week was either tanning by the pool, tanning on the beach, or napping under the coconut trees.

We will be returning for a future vacation at Villa Babara.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
