This was a great place to stay and get away from it all! Very quiet and peaceful with the only noise coming from the tranquility of the waves (there is another cabin in close proximity which could cause some noise issues, but no one was there when we were there). Right on the lake with great views and nice private beach area (pretty rocky, no sand, but great for rock collectors!). The listing and description of this cabin were dead on, with the exception of stating it has a mile long beach to walk along. I tried to continue walking past the cabin, along the beach, but was sternly told by locals that it was private property and I was to stay down by the cabin. All in all I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who needs to rest, relax, and take in the beauty of lake superior! I would have no hesitations about returning in the future.
