French doors leading to the covered deck, facing the Gulf, from both the eating area and Great room provide that great atmosphere of being 'on the beach'. If you are interested in area history, the historic Fort Morgan is less than five minutes drive and the USS Alabama is within an hours drive. If you are interested in activities, you can go shelling on the beaches of Dauphin Island or enjoy go carting, miniature golf, or a waterpark in Gulf Shores. If it's shopping, the Tanger Outlet Mall offers plenty of opportunity. Visit the newest area attraction, The Wharf, for a Coney Island Ferris Wheel, entertainment and shopping venues. If you just want to relax, kick back in one of the cushioned lounge chairs on one of the decks and listen to the waves crashing on the beaches. Whatever it is you are looking for, you will find it here!

A perfect family vacation

This was one of the best vacations I have ever had. The house is georgous. It is beautifully decorated in relaxing casual style. The views from the deck are wonderful for watching the ocean, sunset and sunrise. The beaches along the Alabama coastline are some of the prettiest I have ever seen. The sand is white and soft and stretches for miles. I highly recmmend Altioria as a great place to take family and friends. We enjoyed spending a week here in the fall. The weather was perfect and we had the beaches to ourselves.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

What a wonderful "escape from reality!"The house is just beautiful!It is perfectly situated between the pool and the beach.Such a relaxing area.We had a great week and will cetainly visit again!!

8/21-8/26/05. This was by far the BEST vacation home we have rented! The beach was virtually all ours. Everything about the home, Morgantown and the beach exceeded our expectations! The kingsize beds are to die for - a perfect night sleep everynight! All the ammenties this home offers - you can't go wrong! The seashells collected were beautiful! Definitely come back to this area and home! The owners were wonderful to work with! You won't be disappointed!

The house was absolutely wonderful. The rooms are plush and spacious, and everything is beautifully decorated. The house has everything you need for a perfect vacation! We will definitely go back again!
