Pristine, undisturbed beaches, are part of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. This home boasts a well-stocked, open kitchen with a dining table that seats 8 and a snack bar that seats 4. Large, comfortable great room with new furniture and decor. New pool for 2007! In-ground pool includes a kiddie pool section for your little ones! Private pool available April through October. Private hot tub located on first story covered deck. Furnished second story decks & screened porch with sound views. Baby friendly with high chair & crib. The house was great-four bedrooms & three full bathrooms worked perfectly for our family. The pool was the best part for the kids. Lots of Marco-Polo games at night! The walk to the ocean only took a few minutes, but it was kind of difficult with cooler, towels, toys, etc in the hot sun. Very quiet beach, not a lot of people. Great waves for boogie boards for beginners. Sitting on the deck at night was great! Very windy, but very relaxing! Cute little town, we visited the Shell station/store almost everyday to pick something up. Kitchen was well-stocked. My husband is a chef so that was important! Bring handtowels & soap for each bathroom! Lots of stairs, might be a problem for someone with bad knees. Although, the hot tub will help out with that! All in all, it was a wonderful vacation! We were very happy with the house & the kids want to go back next year!
