This 7th floor studio looks fully over the building to the right (anything lower does not!) and offers panoramic views of the Molokai channel and Molokai island. Guests can enjoy the beautiful ocean views from inside the studio as well as from the private balcony lanai. The decor is newly custom redecorated by the owners in the 'island style' using teak furniture and all new appliances. Couples will find it the perfect place for a romantic Maui getaway or a truly island-style vacation for a small family. This studio has central air-conditioning, a full and fully equipped kitchen, TV, DVD/CD player, and both a queen size bed and a queen sofa bed. Our studio is better equipped than a ResortQuest-managed studio, while we charge considerably less than their rates! This is a non- smoking studio in a non- smoking oceanfront resort.

The Kaanapali Shores is a 3-star, AAA rated oceanfront resort located on famous Kaanapali North Beach. A huge open-air lobby greets you when you arrive at the Kaanapali Shores. You will know that you are in Maui as you smell the flowers and walk through the grounds, passing a waterfall and the quiet garden pool. You could enjoy a meal at the oceanfront restaurant. The main pool is also oceanfront and has a jacuzzi. You can relax in a chaise lounge on the beach and watch the sunset, shoreline activities, or whales (in season December through April). Whaler's Village and Lahaina are only a few minutes away. The Kaanapali Shores has two fully staffed activity desks from which you can schedule your Maui activities - a bike ride down a volcano, a boat trip to Lanai, a luau, a whale-watch (in season), and lots more.

This condo was a great, well-kept studio unit. The furnishings were nice and the view of the ocean in the distance was great. Just one caution for light sleeperslike myself: this part of the island gets very windy, and being up so high intensifies the sounds at night. The weather was usually a bit warmer and less windy just a couple of miles down the road in Kaanapali. The parking was very close to the elevators, which was nice. We had a great stay there.

We’re happy that our recent 5-night guests “had a great stay” in our panoramic ocean view studio. We believe, however, that her complaint about the wind is misleading and unfair. This complaint is unique, and most people are much more interested in value for their dollars. Our studio is an extremely good value, and many other guests have commented on this. Maui is a windy island—but it is unfair to single out any particular area over another. In any case: (1) it would be difficult to find accommodations similar to those of our Kaanapali Shores studio on Kaanapali Beach, and ,(2) if found, the nightly rate would be at least twice what this guest paid for our studio.

Full Ocean View Studio! - Kaanapali Shores

This renal unit was exactly as advertised - the ocean view from the lani was exactly as shown in the pictures. It was very clean and had all the comforts of home. The owners were very friendly and were quick to reply to questions. I would recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay at the Kaanapali Shores and would stay again myself if ever able to return to Maui. The resort area was very clean and everyone was very friendly.

We stayed at this unit in late Jan/early Feb 2008. We found it very tidy/clean. It had all the amenities and more. We completely enjoyed Mai Tais, Sushi and more on the Lanai. The partial view is more like a panoramic view. We spotted whales from the Lanai and saw numerous rainbows. I would definitely return soonest. Thanks for accommodating us.
