North Myrtle Beach Vacation Rental house

The house was beautifully decorated and very clean when we checked in. The bedrooms and amenities were as described on the website. Although this is a duplex, noise was not a problem. The view was terrific and parking was not a problem. We visited in March so it was pretty windy and cool but we were very happy with the accomodations. The children and adults loved the game room and the game stations plus iPod docking stations. The kitchen and laundry areas were great. The linens were delivered soon after our arrival and for our group of 13, there were plenty of towels and sheets. The house is advertised to sleep 25. If you have that large of a group, I'm not sure if there would have been enough of either. The pool and hot tub area was very nice but the weather during our visit kept us inside most of the time. The hot tub was barely warm but I don't know if that was a function of the outdoor temp (the wind blew the cover off one night)or the setting. We did not see a temperature control for the hot tub.

When we checked in we were given one roll of toilet paper for nine bathrooms. I was surprised that not a single roll was left in any bathroom. For this type of accomodation, I expected one starter roll or partial roll in each.

The bunkbeds had fitted bedspreads which I had never seen before and aren't very user friendly as covers. There were just enough blankets in the house for the kids in the bunks to have a sheet and a blanket.

I do not recommend this house for the elderly or people with problems climbing stairs. The stairs from the parking area to the first floor are quite steep.

There was a storm one night with hail and we were able to get all of our cars in the under the house parking area which was very helpful.

Myrtle Beach is a favorite place for our family to visit and this house was perfect for our needs and less expensive than booking a hotel with comparable space.

Overall, this was a great house in a great location and we were very satisfied.
