The location of this Condo was perfect with regards to enjoying good meals and not having to do anything more than walk, as we didn't have a car. Neighborhood was great…the coffee shop just around the corner was unbelievable and the public transit system was perfect. Thanks for a great spot for a great weekend. Perfect NOLA base

My best friend and I, along with our 3 teenaged sons, just returned from 5 glorious days in NOLA. The condo was a fantastic home away from home and central to everything we wanted to do. I love the Garden District and would recommend it to anyone wanted a relaxing neighborhood to return to after a day of touring the city. The condo was the perfect size and had everything we needed. Micheal was an absolute pleasure to work with and was so welcoming. We plan to stay here again in the future.

The Best!

We recently stayed at Michaels condo and it was absolutely the best accommodations we could have asked for! We had 5 adults in our party and there was plenty of room for everyone. The condo was clean, comfortable and quiet. The beds were quite comfortable as well. Having a washer and dryer was another plus. Wonderful place to "come home" to at the end of the busy day. Sitting on the front veranda in the morning with my coffee and chatting with the neighbors just added to the ambiance. The location of the condo is wonderful with just a few steps to Magazine street. (We recommend Juans Flying Burritos on Magazine Street!! The portions are huge and so very good!) You can hop on the streetcar and get to anyplace you need to go. We did have a car and it was nice to have off street parking available at the condo. Michael was very thoughtful and it was so fun to visit with him. We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone and I know we will be back. I would not stay anywhere else in New Orleans! Oh, and they do not say North or South, it is Upriver or Downriver!! Thanks Michael for such a great stay!

Wondeful Stay

I recently stayed with 5 girlfriends at this wonderful property. The space was great, the property clean and Michael was very accommodating. The neighborhood is very convenient to the shops/restaurants on Magazine street (only 1 block away). The streetcar to the French Quarter was also just a quick walk to St. Charles street. The neighborhood was very quiet. Loved our stay!! Thanks Michael!

Great Place!

My family of four stayed here for three nights and had a wonderful time. The location is perfect-- close to shopping and restaurants and public transportation, an easy drive to everything if you have a car, and there's off the street parking (!), which is kind of a luxury in New Orleans.

The condo is huge, and we found the photos to be very accurate; it's nicely decorated and very comfortable. Everything was extremely clean, and I am picky about that, and everything was in good working order. My kids appreciated having separate rooms to sleep in. If I had any quibbles or things I'd point out to visitors, it's that in the front bedroom, you can hear some street noise, and there's some nearby residential construction just now (March 2014) that's a little noisy, too, so bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. The water pressure in the shower is on the low side, but having owned some older homes myself, I know that's not always something you can easily improve.

Michael, the owner/manager, was great about communicating with us and sharing information. We really appreciated how prompt and professional he was. We'd definitely try to book here again when we come back.

Great location, great space, great price!

I have been to New Orleans countless times so I am picky when it comes to where I stay and what I do. Renting this condo made for one of my best visits yet! We found the pictures and descriptions of the condo were accurate and felt we had gotten exactly what we expected. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The owner was very easy to deal with, friendly, reliable and prompt. There were 6 of us (3 couples) and only half had ever visited the city. This is one of the few places I found in my search that had 3 separate sleeping quarters for adults (no sleeper-sofas, no twin beds, no sleeping in a common area, etc). Something to be aware of is the front bedroom upstairs is a semi-loft and only separated from the other room by a curtain. It was sufficient but not complete silence or privacy. It posed no problem for our tight-knit group. The condo is so conveniently located, it worked perfectly for allowing the group to split off and come back together easily since public transportation was so close and easy to access. We used the St. Charles street car almost exclusively but also found cab rides to/from the French Quarter and Uptown to be inexpensive. You not only save because of the reasonable rate the condo is offered at, you don't need a car to get around once you arrive! I would recommend this place unequivocally and plan to stay there again myself.
