Enjoy the relaxing sound of gentle waves from this fully equipped 2 bedroom beach front condo, situated at the southern most point of Ft Myers Beach just across from Lovers Key state park. Right outside your door is world renowned fishing, walking, shelling, swimming, or lounging along the white sand beach Sit yourself by the heated pool (closed 9/13-10/5/2010) located on the beach. Renovated in 2008 and constant updates: furniture, tile, rug ...etc. Cable TV, DVD/VCR. The master bedroom has a King size bed, and a screened in Lanai porch. The second BR has 2 twins, its own full bathroom and a Pack'n Play. The unit has a washer/drier. The unit has WiFi. Explore Sanibel, Capitiva, Naples or catch a Red Sox, Twins game. Nearby access to biking, marinas, kayaking, daytime cruises, shopping, golf, para sailing, jet skiing, and every other water sport imaginable. Great restaurants and nightlife nearby, but won't disturb you. Convenient trolley transportation at your front door.

  • Security Deposit Required
  • Information about security deposit and procedure:
    Once a request for a reservation has been made the security deposit must be received within 10 days (by mail). A security deposit of $325.00 is required to hold weekly accommodations. $200 is returned after the keys have been returned to us and the condo has been inventoried and inspected for damage. $125 is held for the cleaning fee.

    The total rent is due 60 days prior to arrival. The keys will be mailed to you approximately 3 weeks prior to your arrival date along with a map of the area and some points of interest.

    In the event of cancellation, the deposit is refundable, however, any cancellation within 45 days prior to the rental date will result in forfeiture of the $325 deposit.

Perfect

We just stayed there for a week, everything was perfect! The appartment is fully equipped with more things then you need (sandtoys, crayons, even detergent for dishwasher and washing-machine....)! It was the perfect start for our trip to Florida, and now we are in a hotel, my daughter just said this morning, she wants to go back to the appartment ;-). I have to tell I was a little afraid, since it was the first hollidayhome I ever rented, but everything worked perfect!

Wonderful condo & location. Perfect family spot!

We had a wonderful vacation here at Carlos Point, the owners obviously take great pride in their condo as everything was wonderful. We took our 1 1/2 year old son, the area is ideal for children, with the soft sand beach, protected shore. We also enjoyed the pool area. The location provides easy access to restaurants, activities. Lover's Key is wonderful, a jaunt to Sanibel to explore the Ding Darling Preserve. We look forward to returning next year! Thank you Cindy Pendleton for making our booking and stay a pleasure!

Great for Young Families and Fishing

We have rented this unit several times, including 2006, 2007 and 2008. On each occassion we met friends who rented in the building as well from Newfoundland Canada. The location is great, second to last building on the quiet end of the beach, right at the mouth of the intercoastal. Fish Tail Marina is just inside the mouth of the intercoastal and a great resource for rental boats and fishing charters. Our kids, now 3 and 7 love the pool and building sand castle's in the sand. You are 10 minutes from honky tonk heaven and 25 minutes from Naples. We are going back in 2009. There was a clean pack and play in the unit. Thanks Cindy for all your help.

a very relaxing vacation

I would very highly recommend this unit to anyone who is looking for a relaxing, quiet vacation spot.
I was a little leary at first - going to Ft Myers at the height of spring break - but was quickly relieved when I found it to be true that this spot is located on the "quiet" end of Ft Myers beach.
The unit itself was very clean and well maintained - absolutely no complaints whatsoever. One point to note - this is not a resort - this is a condo complex - you will not get the amenities you would at a resort - translated - no bars on the beach... :)
I just received my security deposit back - well within the time frame promised.
I would definitely rent again from Cindy - she was very pleasant to deal with and was always willing to answer any questions I had regarding the area or the condo.
An excellent time had by all!
