For exact location search: 415 Gulf Shore Dr., Destin, FL, 32541. ** One of the closest boat docks to the Gulf and Crab Island available as a vacation rental. ** Walk across the street to two beaches. East pass beach is protected by rocks and is ideal for families with small children. Also good if you want to just sit and float. Other beach is directly on the gulf if you want to play in the waves. ** Large driveway with room to park trailer and 2 vehicles. ** Very modern kitchen with stainless steel refrigerator and flat top stove. Back deck has a outdoor gas grill. Free hi-speed wireless internet access works even down at the dock. ** For the fisherman, unit includes cleaning station and bait traps for use off dock. Unit is also walking distance to the east jetty rocks where many people fish from shore.

Beautiful and Relaxing

We have recently rented this house and I would just like you to know this house is beautiful. The first thing I noticed, when we walked in, was the kitchen. I love those cabinets and counter tops. Then the dinning room is fabulous. The mirrored walls are very nice I have never saw anything like that before. That's a great idea it makes the first floor look huge.The windows in the living room gives you a great view of the harbor. Beautiful at night when all the lights across the water are on.But I have to say the most relaxing part of our stay was just being out on the boat dock,fishing,watching the birds,and the other boats.We did some great fishing from the dock my husband caught a 10lb.Black Drum,whiting,and a few other fish.We only stayed for 3 nights but I really could live there.If you're looking for a great place to stay in beautiful Destin FL this is it. It is well worth the money.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

Awsome week!

We had an amazing week! The townhouse was perfect for my family.We had plenty of room. My two teenage sons and I had a great time fishing off of the dock and caught lots of fish, white trout, red fish, croaker and lots of others. The beach was an easy 5 minute walk away and it was beautiful. We snorkeled along the jety and were amazed at the fish we saw. This was our first time to stay in Destin and we will definitely be going back.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

This location is great for boaters!
Likes: beautiful kitchen, comfortable beds, well kept, great area for families. Plenty of room!!!
Benefits: a short walk to the ocean (jetty area)...perfect for snorkling. There are hardly any waves and the water at a certain parts of the day is crystal clear. You can see aquatic life for free. The local snorkle company docks their boats there.
Overall we had a great time at this location!!!
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Having vacationed in Destin many times, this was our first at this property. We had our college-aged children in for a couple of days during our week - plenty of room, privacy, and amenities. Loved having the boat dock so close - we anchored in the harbor on the 4th to watch the fireworks. Updated kitchen is huge and nice with enough room for the whole family to enjoy. Views of the harbor and Harborwalk were great.
