Enjoy Mammoth, winter or summer, in style.
This upgraded unit has a very comfortable feel. The main living room has two story windows looking out to the Sherwin Mountains providing morning sunlight. The two bedrooms are at opposite ends of the condo with the loft upstairs, providing privacy in all three areas. Perfect accommodations for three couples or a chance to distance yourself from the kids! In the bedrooms you'll find 1 king and 2 queen size beds and there is a queen size air mattress as well. The master bath has double sinks and a tub/shower combo. The second bedroom has another full bath with shower and the loft upstairs has full bath with shower/tub combo.
There is a fully functional kitchen with everything you'll need to cook in and avoid the restaurant crowds. There are all kinds of pots and pans as well as spices, oils and many food items.
There is a 37 inch flat screen TV with BluRay/DVD in the living area as well as a 32' flat screen and DVD player in master bedroom. There is a wall mounted TV in the second bedroom. The large dining table sits 8 easily. With a push of the Netflix button on the remote you can instantly watch with no extra charge as many TV episodes and movies as you want, as often as you want and anytime that you want.
There are two hot tubs a short walk away. And plenty of parking right out in front. There is a good size deck with sitting and a BBQ that can be used winter or summer.
This condo is owned by the Nesses and Arnetts as our second/ski home and we're sure you'll treat it with the same respect and care that we do.
There is a phrase used by locals in Mammoth and it goes like this 'You come for the skiing and you stay for the summers'. It's true, Mammoth is a fabulous summer vacation with lots of outdoor activities at all levels of ability. This condo in particular is very comfortable for both winter and summer stays. We love it at Mammoth in the summer. The grounds have plenty of flowers and trees and there is so much nature to enjoy.
A truly relaxing environment!
Hi, this is Dave Ness, one of the owners of this condo. We invite all of our guests to leave comments here, positive or constructive. Our goal is to for everyone staying at our "home away from home" to enjoy it as much as we do and if there is something we need to change, we'd like to know about it. We would appreciate it if you would also send constructive comments to us directly, in addition to posting them here, so that we may address them as soon as possible.
We booked a last minute stay last week and we were so impressed with this property. Snowcreek is a great area to stay - very scenic and close to town. We were spoiled by a surprise storm and 8 fresh inches of powder! The condo is very spacious and convenient. Each sleeping area is very private and our kids were able to sleep perfectly in the loft with a private bathroom. They had great games to play and Netflix (just like home!) and about every convenience you could think of in the kitchen. We will definitely be coming back to this place! Thank you, Dave and Karen for a wonderful stay!
We stayed 3 nights in March and loved this this place. It is a beautiful home, very clean, organized, well taken care off. Thank you Karen for sharing your "home" with us, we are looking forward to coming back soon.
Nice and clean with everything you require including grill to utensils to towels to toiletries.
Lot of Board games in the house
Precious than how it looks in pictures
Very close the town and restaurants.
Nice mountain views
Too much morning sun in the kitchen. we had to wear sunglasses while cooking breakfast.. :)
Taking our trash and putting towels for washing etc is too much work, if you are anyway charging for cleaning fee.
We stayed for 4 nights at this condo and felt right at home since the moment we arrived. The condo is decorated with a mountain and snow theme in mind and it is warm, spacious and has natural light. It is just down the street from the mountain and shops and restaurants. It was obvious that the owners put a lot of thought into ensuring their guests' comfort. There were plenty of hooks by the stairs and in each bedroom so the jackets could hang and dry out overnight, a space for placing muddy boots, humidifiers in the bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms with more than enough towels and a fully equipped kitchen. A great plus was the washer and dryer in the unit, a must for a family traveling with kids :)
My wife and I reserved this condo for 7 days to have a week of day hiking in the areas of Mammoth Lakes, Tom's Cabin, and Convict Lake. At the end of each day we wanted a place of comfort, escape from all the noise and traffic we experience in the city, and all the amenities to prepare simple meals or grab some takeout from local restaurants.
We picked the right place. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed and we found the decorations complimentary to a mountain retreat. It was fall and trees were changing color around us. The view from the large windows and the balcony were perfect for our morning coffee or evening grilling of steak and vegetables.
We were right at home with every aspect of our stay. Local restaurants such as Giovanni's on our first evening after our long drive is our tradition. We also did takeout pizza one evening. The other times we prepared meals at the condo because it was so comfortable and enjoyable. We will definitely be back.
We booked the condo for 5 nights in December during Christmas. We were 2 couples and 1 family (2 adults/2 children). We had a great family time and although I thought the living room would be a bit tight to fit everyone looking at the photos on the website, it wasn't the case. Great space overall (we even put a Christmas tree while we were there), loved the big table for everyone to eat together, loooooved the fact that everyone had their own bathroom. Location of the condo is perfect. I kept staring at the mountain view through the window while eating my breakfast! Vons is 5 minutes away so very easy for grocery. Everything is really close. We didn't ski much because there was not a lot of snow so it was a good thing that the condo was super comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Owners were very easy and nice to deal with and would answer my emails in the same day. Neighborhood was quiet. Lots of people walking their dogs.
Already hoping to go back there as soon as possible.
The only downside for us was the bed situation for the kids. There was no space in any of the bedroom to put the air mattress which meant sleeping in the living room on the sofa but honestly it wasn't a huge problem. It's just something to keep in mind when there are young kids involved.
As I said, would go back there in a heartbeat!
Thanks Karen for making it so easy for us.
