We offer a unique historic property located in the quiet Kay/Catherine historic Neighborhood just off Bellevue Ave. near the Viking Hotel. The house was built in 1880 and was owned by Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry's son, Dr. Christopher Perry and his family (including Margaret Perry who later married John LaFarge the famous stained glass artisan). We are an owner occupied house. Newly renovated in 2007! The apartment is about 500 sq. ft. with a combined kitchen and living room area, separate bedroom area and en suite bath. It is similar to a hotel suite and is fully furnished with all amenities. Private entrance. The first floor unit has French doors that walk out onto a patio/deck area. Self sufficient!

My own private paradise!

I rented this first floor apartment for the entire month of July, both in 2008 and 2009. I loved it! The renters are a great family. It is small (500 sq. ft.) but has everything! It was just my size. It is convenient to shops, downtown, the Viking Hotel, and even First Beach! You do need to drive to Second Beach but it's well worth it. Private entrance and parking in back and a wonderful sitting area. Felt very safe and secure. Would love it to be mine!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Romantic Getaway

Great Apartment, Wonderful Owners

My husband and I along with our 2 children stayed in this apartment for a week and it suited us perfectly. The apartment is small, but well appointed with all of the necessities. It was also very clean. The location is great because it is in walking distance to shopping, and restaurants and short bike ride away from the mansions and beach. I would definitely stay here again!
