JJ's Retreat is a fabulous place to stay in the north Georgia mountains! We arrived in the dark, so at first simply marvelled at how well appointed the cabin was, and went to bed. The next morning we got a real treat when we woke up to wonderful views! The sunrise from behind the mountains opposite the rear porch is stunning... and at the other end of the day we star-gazed from the hot tub. The first morning, my dad, who doesn't sleep heavily, said he had the best night's sleep for the first night in a new place / bed he'd ever had, which is quite an achievement!
Brian and Dale have thought of just about everything, and far more than most vacation rental owners usually do - it almost felt like a show home that we shouldn't be spoiling, everything was so beautiful, yet it was very homely and comfortable at the same time.
All 4 of us (myself and hubby, plus my parents visiting from the UK) enjoyed our stay and really had a hard time leaving. This is the first vacation rental we've stayed in that we have immediately wanted to go back to and take other people with us to enjoy! Truly memorable for so many reasons, all of them good :-D
I should also add that the whole rental process, from the first enquiry to the directions we were given to get there, was also very easy and pleasurable, which of course sets the trip out on the right footing.
Thank you for everything - whenever we can find the time off work (!) we will be back again, probably with different visitors or maybe even on our own, despite the place being a bit more than 2 people need!
