3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, sleeps 7 to 9 people

Welcome to our Balboa Island getaway, located just up the street from the Balboa Island Ferry. We just completed furnishing our home with every amenity to ensure that you and your family will have a wonderful vacation experience and that you'll want to return again and again.

The comfortable living area has plenty of seating for the family to spend time together while playing games, planning your days, or enjoying the large flat-screen television. The master bedroom has a comfortable new king bed, a large custom-designed walk-in closet, and a private balcony with seating area. The sunny yellow second bedroom has a queen bed. The nautical-themed third bedroom has two full-sized bunk beds and one twin bed. Each bedroom has its own full bath, and all bedrooms are equipped with new flat-screen TVs. The house also has an enclosed 2-car garage, and a large, private outside dining area with barbecue. Our home can accommodate up to 9 guests.

Fine linens and towels are provided.

Currently we are staying until April 1st. We love the home, great location and a home well decorated. You only need your clothes and yourself, move-in ready. The home is layed out beautifully and all amenities you could ask for in a home. The home was extremely clean on check-in, we met the owner she is very nice and friendly. We strongly recommend this home and hope to rent again next year. Great for a small or large family.

Winter on the Island

My wife and I have been coming to Balboa Island for over 35 years but have never had the opportunity to live there for an entire winter. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-month stay due largely to this property. Working with Shari was easy and efficient. The owner is wonderful. The location was perfect for us - across the street from one of our favorite restaurants on the island, and a block from the ferry for quickly hitting the happy hours on the peninsula. The home has ample space, good layout, and furnished with everything we needed for an extended stay. I worked from a home office I set up in the third bedroom which was perfect with broadband internet, phone and desk. I would recommend this property to you and hope to return next year to get away from the Denver winter wonderland.

Spent Wonderful Week Mid-July 2010

Our family of 9 (6 adults, 2 small kids and 1 baby) just spent a wonderful week at this beautiful home. Just a short walk to the Ferry, which took us to the Balboa Pier, Fun Zone and ocean. Also a short walk the other direction to a wonderful small beach, great for little kids. Great location, a 10 minute walk to the main street (Marine) with restaurants, shops, Hershey's gourmet market is wonderul. Thanks to Diane for welcoming us when we arrived. Can't say enough good things, except we hope to come again next year !

Just spent a week in mid December here and was very pleased! The house is comfortable, clean, nicely decorated and well appointed. Our three year old daughter enjoyed the use of one of the bikes in the garage as well as the children's books in the bedroom and the bunk beds. Given some unusually bad weather, the wireless internet came in handy as well as the nice tvs, DVD player and cable when stuck inside! And, since we were traveling from the East Coast, it was nice to have the linens and towels provided so there was less to travel with. Great Week.
