Comfortable 3 bdrm vacation home in NY along the Mass border. Lots of rolling fields and farms. Less then 2.5 hrs north of NYC. Private lake, with beaches and boating. Great hiking and biking in Taconic state park. Nearby Great Barrington, MA for shopping and restaurants. Nice secluded backyard with big deck for grilling and relaxing. Ski resorts nearby: Jiminy Peak - 45 mins, Catamount - 10 mins, Butternut - 25 mins

We stayed at this house for 3 nights/4 days and had a wonderful time with friends to celebrate my birthday. The house was clean and well-stocked with anything you could need from utensils and pots/pans to a washer and dryer that came in handy - we felt right at home. We took full advantage of the kitchen and the location was great - a short walk to the lake where a rowboat and two kayaks were easily accessible. It was also a short drive to Taconic State Park which had some really great hikes. We spent every day/night exploring the area, fishing and kayaking. Also, the cable tv and HD Vizio mounted in the living room came in handy on Football Sunday! The deck was great for hanging out and bbq. Highly recommend this house. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at this property 10 nights late August 2008 we enjoyed it so much we wished we could have stayed more. It is located in a very private residential location with an excellent rear deck great for barbeques etc easy access to lake with fishing and boating provided by owner. We did not lack for any amenities in this well equipped and clean premise. Good location for touring and exploring beautiful surrounding area. Big thanks to owner who ensured everything was made easy for our stay.
