Spectacular Beach House on Wellfleet Bay with private beach and breathtaking views. This house is at the end of a dead end private road and is perfect for families with young children. This quaint and rustic beach house was originally built and owned by Captain Lorenzo Baker, and maintains much of its original early 20th century charm. The large front porch affords panoramic views of Wellfleet Harbor; a more secluded side deck overlooks the salt marsh and is ideal for groups of 6-8. The dining room and kitchen are well suited for up to 12 comfortably. The living room with cathedral ceiling is a cozy gathering spot in the evening. And, of course, the famous Tower provides a 360 degree view of the bay, the town and surrounding environs. Availability is strictly limited and references will be required.

End of private dirt road. The house has its own sandy beach and waterfront. Ideal for families and children. Great boating & swimming. Warm, friendly bay waters. Golf and tennis available within a short drive or walk. This house can easily accommodate two families. Usual limit is 10 persons.

This is a beautiful 100 year-old beach house originally built and owned by Captain Lorenzo Baker in the early 20th century. It remains largely untouched and lovingly preserved by the Pilcher family which has owned it for over 60 years. The house is rented on an occasional basis to friends and families who can appreciate this house's unique splendor and quirks, and who seek a genuiine traditional Cape Cod experience in a more rustic environment. The family prefers that propsective renters visit in person prior to renting if at all possible. The private beach and breathtaking harbor views are unmatched in Wellfleet. The environment is ideal for children and families.

We needed a place to stay with 6-8 people for a 60th Birthday week. This place not only met our expectations, but exceeded them. The manager/owner, Paul, was really nice and accomodating. The home was perfection. We had everything we needed and more. The location is superb. Would highly recommend this to anyone! We've been going to Wellfleet for decades and this was our best experience to date.
