Beautiful, fully furnished, three bedroom, three and a half bath cottage located at the newly developed Pointe West Resort at the west end of Galveston Island. Master has a king-size bed with private master bath and huge balcony, TV and DVD. Bedroom number two has a queen-size bed with private bath and private balcony, and bedroom number three has two twins with private bath. Living area is on the third floor with huge private balcony and gas grill. Living room has a TV, Stereo/CD, and DVD. The king sleeper sofa will sleep two. Fantastic views of the bay and gulf from all windows, and the deck area, which is also overlooking a beautiful stocked pond with fountain. A powder room is located on this level. The kitchen has all you will need with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, utensils, dinner ware, ironing board with iron, etc. You will truly love your stay at La Bleu Marlin!!

Nearest Airport: Houston-Hobby at 50 Miles
This beautiful and spacious cottage is located within The Pointe West Resort, a resort development at the far west end of Galveston Island. Cottage guest will have priviliges at the Galveston Country Club located in Pirates Beach approximately 10 miles from PW. A gulf fishing pier is close by just over the San Luis Pass bridge, 2 miles away. The cottage is ocean view and approximately 200 yards from the beach/dune cross-over. It is also located on a lake which has been stocked, and blue claw crabs have been trapped recently. The Beach Club is located 1/2 mile from the cottage, and guest have full use of all amenities....infinity pool, private restaurant, gym, and lounge. There is a 3 night minimum for all stays.

WOW, A Relaxing and Inviting Cottage!!!!

Wow!!! This was the best vacation so far! This property has EVERYTHING you need on vacation. It had many ameneties, a great location, privacy, safety, and beautiful surroundings with beach views on one side and gulf views on the other. We have never relaxed so much. The children enjoyed the infinity pool everyday! Clean and inviting, the house was super spacious with all the upgrades you could want. Modern and pristine, this house was the perfect choice for our family vacation.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Great family getaway!

We've stayed at this house with our 2 kids and another family with their 2 kids and had a blast each time. The house is comfortable and well furnished, and within an easy walk to the beach. The clubhouse just down the street has a great pool and restaurant for when you want to dine out. We'll be back for our 3rd consecutive year in 2009!

We stayed at your awsome house this past weekend and had the best time. The bayside pool with lazy river was perfect for our three young children. The poolside restaurant had great service and the most tasty chicken sandwich I've ever had. The best part was that the resort was not crowded at all. We will be back! Pointe West is a great treasure!

Happy New Year!

We stayed at the cottage over New Year's week this year. Our baby girl was turning 1 while we were there so we had family coming up to stay with us as well. We were concerned about what we might find because of the storm but we would have really missed out if we had stayed away.

The weather house is really stunning and has everything you will need for not only a nice stay but to feel literally "at home". The decks give you views in all directions. We had perfect weather and spent a good deal of time on the beach collecting shells and talking with other local and visiting folks out doing the same.

We had a baby, a teenager, two midlife types, and two grandparents and all had what they needed.

This part of the island clearly fared better than some parts but those places can be avoided. We found no reason to leave the house or beach near it at all.

We hope you'll not be put off by the storm damage as you will miss something wonderful,

We eagerly recommend this cottage and this owner. We had all the help we needed prior to and during our visit.
