enjoy the song birds and beauty of the gardens while sipping your morning espresso on the screened porch. so close to the water you can hear and taste it, yet private like no front beach can offer. newly renovated to recreate old time beach life. we supply all that you need for the perfect holiday. the kitchen includes everything from a cappuccino maker to the frozen drink blender, we even have the spices for grilling. we also offer WIFI internet cable tv, more than 125 movies videos, books cards & misc. games for your enjoyment. the linens are included. the primitive dining table w/6 chairs, there's a cd player, the living area invites relaxation & conversation. the bedrooms are romantically designed, bed w/canopy, dresser, tv/vcr, the bath is small & CLEAN, the outside hot water shower room is designed to enjoy being naked outside. Notes: The screened porch runs the length of the house one end you will find a rack of beach chairs, umbrella, coolers etc. everything for a great day at the beach. The other end of the porch is furnished w/Deco Rattan couch, chairs and table, kick back and enjoy the ocean breezes while being lulled by the sound of the water garden on the other side of the screen. The rest of the porch is devoted to the 8 seat table w/a chandelier above for dining ambiance. This is the place to gather and talk & drink & laugh, play a game of Chinese checkers or cards. the back yard offers our new recreational court, for horse shoes, bocce ball , or maybe a classic game of croquet on the lawn.

This home is a hidden treasure. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this extremely loved and immucalute vacation home. Alexandria was so lovely and could not have been more accommadating. The villa is quaint and very private. We ate dinner on the beautiful screened in porch while listening to the ocean. We had all of the comforts of home, even wireless Internet service. Thank you for everything Alexandria. We had a wonderful time. We hope to come back soon. Rob and Audrey

The peaceful side of the island

Our stay at Alexandria's rental greatly exceeded our expectations. We have stayed on the island several times over the years, and this property is by far the nicest place we've stayed. All the little things you don't necessarily think of, she has thought of them for you. The rental is extremely clean, and decorated similar to a bed and breakfast. AND there's great water pressure in the shower! The porch is lovely for enjoying the quiet and sounds of the ocean, yet you can walk a short distance to the night life. We've already recommended this property to our friends and family who frequent Folly Beach, and we hope to visit again next year. Thanks so much for sharing your little piece of Heaven on Folly with us!

Fabulous and fun beach vacation!

We had an absolute blast!! We were so close to the beach and yet our accommodations were still very private. I have stayed at this location before and I have to say that it just keeps getting better! There were 6 of us staying at the villa and we had a great time! The owners are very friendly and helpful. The backyard is beautiful and we had a great time grilling out and playing bocce and horseshoes! Folly Beach is a beautiful place and this home truly is the best spot to stay on the island!

Our wonderful (romantic) Vacation

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay..... The accomodations were well appointed, extremely comfortable, with no detail left undone...The owners were pleasant, personable, and very helpful in advising us as to places to visit and eat. We enjoyed the accomodations, the lovely gardens, and had all the privacy a newly wed couple could want. The home oozed with positive and loving vibes. We would reccommend this "home" to anyone looking for a peaceful, romantic and fun stay.

Do not stay here!!! Warning...

I knew this price was too good to be true. Do NOT stay here. I have visited Folly Beach many times and this is the worst place I have stayed. The owner of this place stays at the house with you, but not only that, she repeatedly interrupts your stay to ask you to be quiet, to not step on her flowers, to turn the AC off, etc. This is entirely inappropriate. I own a rental house in NY, and this behavior is inappropriate. Not only that, but she uses profanity when speaking to her guests/tenants if she is upset. NEVER should a landlord interrupt her tenants (who have paid her money to stay at the house) and ask them to go to bed or to be quiet. This is a terrible place to stay. It is a shame too, because the house is nice; it is just too bad that the owner of the house cannot allow her guests to have a nice stay. Choose a different house! There is a reason this house is so inexpensive...you get what you pay for (maybe less).
Owner's Response: This guest rented my propery under false pretenses. She said a "girls weekend for 6", at one point she had more than 30 people here.The party she held raged until 5:00 a.m.
When asked to leave, she and her guests just refused. i really didn't want to call the police on them, i thought i would just ride it out.
It took 14 man hours to clean up the mess. they burned my carpets, chipped my counter, broke the shower, broken glassware and trashed my handmade terra cotta tile floor. And then had the bad manners to leave a negitive review.
