Our trip to Makaha was the second week of a 2 week vacation in Hawaii. The first week was spent at the Sony Open of which our golfer won, Johnson, Wagner. The second week just sightseeing and relaxing of which the Loli's condo provided. We have stayed at the cabanas before so we were familiar with the area and just love it, we are not Honolulu people. The condo was clean and well furnished with eveything you need. The doors to the lanai are just great, the complete end of the condo can be opened to the ocean. We loved this and slept every night to the sound of the ocean. We had last visited in February 2008 but this time did not see as many whales or turtles but that could be because of the time of year. We toured the complete island, put 750 miles on the rental car. Made a point to revisit Giovanni's shrimp truck on the north shore, still a great meal. Ate at Grass Skirt Grill on the Northshore and my husband says its the best meal on Oahu. We visited Tamuras for everyday needs and I was able to try the poke again, evem shrimp poke, yum. Fell in love with the shaved ice at Aoki's, never knew it was so good. Revisited the Honolulu Zoo from 1970. Visited Makapuu lighthouse, Diamond Head, Waimea Falls, Wahiawa Botannical Gardens, the statue of Kamehameha, Punchbowl Cemetery, as well as 5 days at the Sony Open in Waialae, doesnt sound like much time to relax but we did and on those days we just stayed at the beach. It was a wonderful vacation. I have and will recommend this to family and friends. It was WONDERFUL ! Thank you Laura and Jerry.

Sounds like they had a wonderful time and enjoyed it all! One of the best things I can say about our condo is that it is wonderful to come back to after a day out touring. Her comment about our glass sliding doors that open out to the ocean is probably the best feature. These are extra wide sliders and it gives you an amazing view. Sleeping every night to the sound of the ocean, is my favorite. There are not many condos that are this close to the ocean where you can really experience something like this. It's so relaxing and good for the soul.
I also was happy that she mentioned how spotless our place is. We would never stay in a vacation rental unless it was very clean, so we want to be sure that every one of our tenants are guaranteed an immaculate condo when they arrive.
We work very hard to get these five star reviews and it is so rewarding to receive such a great reference.
