Our beautiful apartment is located on the National Trust's Historical Walking Tour of old Caymanian homes on the sea side of Boggy Sand Road, West Bay, just off the main West Bay Road. The apartment is nestled in ancient seagrape trees at the northern end of world famous Seven Mile Beach and is in a residential area, away from the bustle of the main resort areas. Just off shore are some of the most popular dive sites on the western end of Grand Cayman. There are also shallower reefs for snorkeling with popular Cemetery Reef just a few hundred yards away. For landlubbers, the beach or the deck under the shade of the seagrape trees provide the ideal setting to enjoy a good book and a beverage. Rest and relaxation are guaranteed at this cozy seaside apartment.

Boggy Sand Road is a quiet lane of private residences off the main West Bay Road. It is close to everything you will need to enjoy a comfortable and enjoyable holiday and yet far enough away from it all to ensure total relaxation. Within walking distance is a fairly large grocery store as well as a service station, floral shop, bank, photo shop, internet services, church and several small restaurants. Within a few minutes drive, you can enjoy some of the Islands' top restaurants such as Calypso Grill,, Cracked Conch, Fisherman's Reef Grill, Morgans Harbour Restaurant and Ristorante Papagallo. Also within a short driving distance are world famous 'Hell', Boatswains Beach (formerly the Turtle Farm), two new Swim with the Dolphins facilities, North Sound boat trips and dive shops. So, if you just want to do nothing or want to do a lot, you have come to the right spot!

All the Conveniences of home and more... : Apartment 1 offers modern amenities, comfort and convenience. The living room of Apartment 1 has a tropical decor and seats 5 comfortably. Sliding glass doors offer an unobstructed view to the sea and lead you to the deck. The kitchen includes all the amenities you will need to make your favorite meal with seating for 6. A spiral staircase takes you to the bedrooms on the second floor. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 twin beds. Each bedroom has its own private spacious full bathroom. The deck is shaded by ancient Sea Grape trees and palm trees creating a cool place to relax and unwind. The location of Apartment 1 is incredible! It is located literally steps away from the water on the last mile of the world famous “Seven Mile Beach”.

Getting Out: Getting out Within walking distance of Apartment 1 is a full service grocery store, gas station, Presbyterian church as well as a small plaza with a bank, medical clinic, sandwich shop, photo shop and Internet service provider. The world famous Boatswains Beach (formerly the Turtle Farm) and Hell are just a short 3 mile drive away. Within the district of West Bay are several well known eating establishments including Ristorante Pappagallo, Cracked Conch, Fisherman's Reef Grill and Calypso Grill, all of which are also only a short drive away.

Relax: Apartment 1 offers the ultimate relaxation experience. A private chef, housekeeper and personal massage therapist can be arranged to cater to your personal requirements on advanced notice. Relax and Let Your Cares Slip Away

This spot is absolutely gorgeous. If you are looking for a place to stay where you can relax and be worry free, this is your spot. The accommodations are terrific. The deck to the beach for your morning coffee over looks the beautiful beach and ocean. Lawn chairs are provided to enjoy the sun during the day while your husband kyaks the ocean. At night, sit on the deck outside your bedroom and watch the sun set. It is gorgeous. Also, this end of the beach is very quiet, carefree, layed back, and very relaxing. It is not a busy, rush, rush spot. There is access to a grocery store that is terrific. It has most everything you will need for your stay. There are also a couple of local places to eat just down the street which are really fun. You will never meet finer people than Beth and Frank. They are so helpful and welcoming. Anything we needed, they would help us to make sure our stay was pleasant. It is nice to be able to visit frequently with the owners. They made us feel right at home. Their staff is as courteous and helpful as Beth and Frank. It is great to have local people to help you around the island. We were married there five years ago and went back for our five year anniversary only to find it just as welcoming. We are planning on returning again next year. I highly reccommend this spot for complete relaxation and letting your cares just slip away.
