This updated cottage is the perfect vacation spot offering spectacular views of Nantucket sound from the living room, dining area, master bedroom. An awesome Bose sound system, gas grill, ultra quiet Bosch dishwasher and washer/ dryer make your time away so much easier. Enjoy the bustle of downtown Chatham with the finest shops and restaurants on the cape. Stroll lighthouse beach and spot the grey seals basking in the sun or swimming in the waves. After a day at the beach or in town wind down on the back deck with a cool drink and enjoy the soft ocean breezes. The Friday night band concerts on the green are not to be missed. There are so many things to do in Chatham: hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, tennis, golf, watching the catch come in on the fish pier ( be prepared to see the reel deal) or for a quieter day- shopping, antiquing or napping on the beach. At night there is live theater in Chatham or in nearby Orleans. If you love movies---Wellfleet drive in is a favorite.

The house is on a neighborhood association beach pathway 100 yards from the private section of Ridgevale beach bridge. The public beach with lifeguards and a grocery/snack shop is just steps away as well.

Perfect for children with lots of wading pools and a constant gentle breeze. Additionally, School House pond, a spring fed fresh water body of water is a quick bike ride away (less than 2 miles). The cape cod bike path is less than a mile from the house.

Other Activities: Concert on the Town Green and local theater

We had a lovely time at this charming cottage. The views of the sound from the deck were wonderfully relaxing and restful. Our morning coffee tasted that much better with the outstanding view. The house was as listed, comfortable and clean. We will return. It is a great cottage for a romantic get away or for a family with young children to enjoy the beach. The owner was pleasant and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay. It was a great stay with a wonderful view. It is near the beach. The neighborhood is wonderfully quiet and it is very close to some excellent restaurants. We would definitely return again.

Nice quaint house. Just what we were looking for.

The landlord was a pleasure to deal with all the way through the process. =)

A Slice of Heaven

This was our second time at this charming, sweet cottage in Chatham. The cottage was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities as accurately stated in the description. It is a short walk to a beautiful beach on Nantucket Bay with views of the bay from the house. The location was perfect and was close to town, restaurants, Chatham pier and a reasonable drive to attractions in other Cape Cod towns. The owners were a pleasure to work with. We will be going back again next year.

Great getaway on the Cape

We had a wonderful stay in this cottage. Having never rented on the Cape before, and not being terribly familiar with the area, we were so pleasantly suprised at just how fabulous the location is. As close as can be to a wonderful beach, ocean views from the house, a great central location on the Cape with easy access to lots of places, and the cottage itself is comfortable, cozy and charming. We felt right at home. Chatham itself is a great town. We were there in the off season but there were still plenty of things to explore. Great place for my friends and I to spend some quality time together. Hope to come back again!
