strange rental
As other reviewers have noted, this condo has a great view and is walkable distance to many restaurants, museums, and the performing arts center. But we've never stayed in a VRBO condo before where the owner left a lot of personal stuff strewn throughout the place. It made it rather difficult to find the few things you really needed: i.e. phone book, garbage bags, etc.
Renters should note that there is no phone, and a paucity of tv channels - about a dozen, mostly Spn-language, cartoons, and ancient reruns. They should also note that ac OR heat is available, and not both in shoulder seasons (no problem while we were there).
Our biggest problem was the unresponsiveness of the owner. She was out of town when we arrived, claimed she'd given us the cell phone #, but I checked her emails and that was NOT the case. We'd driven a long ways and were tired. It was the "If you need anything, just call" and then no answer, wrong # given to us, or an email with the message that she'd be at a given # another 15 minutes. I don't have a smart phone, but don't believe all renters should be expected to. I do have an iPad which I used with the Wifi in the condo.
