This South Lake Tahoe vacation cabin -- 'The Tanglewood Cabin' -- is available for rent. Please see the photos below... we think you will like what you see. Our goal is to impress you, so that we may earn your referrals and repeat business. Thank you for considering our cabin for your Tahoe vacation. The Tanglewood Cabin has a true 'cabin feel' that you don't find very often. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, full kitchen, family room with two couches, and a big loft that has 4 single beds, a couch, black jack & craps table, and foosball table. It sleeps 8 comfortably, so it is perfect for 2 families or a group of friends. The cabin is professionally cleaned prior to your stay to ensure maximum comfort. Please e-mail us for availability. Nearest Train: South Lake Tahoe Amtrak bus stop at 2 Miles

Nearest Beach: beach at 1 Miles

Previous renters tell us one of the main reasons they rented our cabin, and will rent it again, is because of its LOCATION. It is only 1 mile from the lake (see map) and 3 miles from the Heavenly Valley ski resort with shuttle service, all casinos, the California/Nevada border, and lots of shopping. Sierra at Tahoe ski resort and many snow play areas are a short drive away. The City of South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center and Swim Pool Complex is only 4 miles away. It is walking distance to the lake, bars and restaurants. There are great paved and unpaved walking trails that start only two blocks away, and (in the spring and summer) a large meadow for picnics and sports is footsteps away from the front door. Snowplowing in winter IS provided by our Homeowner's Association, so access is not a problem. :-)

It is only 1 mile from the Lake and only 3 miles from Heavenly Valley ski resort and all casinos! Many sledding and snow play areas are only short drive away. Other nearby attractions include: Emerald Bay, Vikingsholm Castle, The Shops at Heavenly Village, Zephyr Cove, and so much more. We recommend checking out the boating and cruising tours -- these are the best way to experience the Lake.

In addition, there are a few bars and restaurants within walking distance. There are great paved and unpaved biking and walking trails that start a mere two blocks away. In the spring and summer there is a large grass meadow for picnics and recreation only footsteps from the front door. Note: Snowplowing in winter is provided by our Homeowner's Association, so access to the cabin is not a problem
