Stunning Lakeside Home. This beautiful home is in a quiet and peaceful setting looking out over a wide lake with golf course beyond. The back yard has an old oak tree which adds great atmosphere to this home. The position gives guests the option of both sun and some shade on the lanai making it the perfect retreat for families and for couples. Eveglade House has a particularly high level of privacy which is always appreciated by guests. The pool has been extended by 3ft.

Rotonda West is located about halfway between Tampa and Naples and between Port Charlotte and Venice. It is perfectly located for access to good beaches. About a 15 minute leisurely drive takes you to 32 miles of wide gulf beaches to the west and the same distance to the south takes you to the toll bridge onto Gasparilla Island. Here you will find smaller, Caribbean style beaches and you will LOVE this pretty island which seems to be caught in a time capsule. This area is one of the world centres for Tarpon fishing which is a large silver fish often called the 'Silver King'. The fishing is spectacular with this 200lb plus fish 'rolling' out of the water. The golf is very good and in common with many Homesearch homes, this property offers the 'Golf Scoop' program to guests staying at the house.

Great Golf: Everglade House offers great golf experience to guests. There are 6 courses on Rotonda with dozens in the local vicinity. Bring your golf clubs, or hire from the courses and enjoy some great golf!

Great Fishing: This is an excellent area for fishing, whether you want to enjoy sport fishing for Tarpon, backwater fishing for Redfish and Trout, or fishing for grouper and ladyfish, the water here offers great variety for the novice and the skilled fisherman. We can arrange boat trips and fishing trips. For smaller groups, Capt Lombard who is currently 22nd in the world championship listings for the Redfish cup takes groups of up to 3 out fishing for half and whole days. For larger groups, Capt Coleman can accommodate them and both Captains are excellent. Please ask us for details.

Baseball is back in town!!: Why not enjoy watching the Charlotte Stone Crabs. The minor leaguers are the Tampa Bay Rays new Class-A Florida State League affiliate. Enjoy watching one or more games between April 11 2009 and September 06, 2009. For special rates and availability, please call us for more details. If you are visiting Florida earlier, the American League Champion Tampa Bay Rays have their spring training camp at the newly renovated Charlotte Sports Park. The season opens on Wednesday February 25 against the Cincinnati Reds and runs until April 04, 2009.
