Beautiful ocean views, tropical sunsets from your lanai, steps from the beach, gorgeous home -- Paradise away from home. This beautiful oceanfront home is located in the gated community of Puamana, about a mile from downtown Lahaina. Puamana townhomes are situated on 30 acres of beautifully maintained tropical grounds looking out across the ocean to the islands of Lanai, Molokini and Kahoolawa. There are three swimming pools, tennis courts and a restored plantation home/clubhouse with a lending library and exercise facility. And Puamana is a well-known surf spot which you can access right from your backyard. There is a king bed in the master, a queen in the guest bedroom, two twin beds and a couch in the third bedroom and a queen sofa bed in the living room. A perfect home for 6-8 guests. The gourmet kitchen with its butcher block table is a perfect place for friends and family to gather. It is centrally air conditioned, beautifully decorated and maintained.

Lahaina/Sunniest Part of Maui/Close to Everything: Walking distance to historic downtown Lahaina where you can find great restaurants, shopping, galleries, theatre. Centrally located for golfing at Maui's great courses in Kapalui, Kaanapali, Makena, Wailea. Close to activities like whale-watching, sport fishing, snorkel trips, glass bottom boat tours, parasailing and many others that leave right from the Lahaina harbor. You can just walk there!

Puamana is a very special place.: Puamana is a beautiful gated community located just south of the downtown Lahaina area. It is a low-density, quiet, peaceful community located on a beautiful strip Pacific Ocean. It is dotted with palms and beautifully landscaped with lush Hawaiian plants. There are three swimming pools -- one quiet pool right on the ocean for adults, as well as two other pools. There are also tennis courts, playgrounds and a badminton court. The Puamana club house, which is a beautifully restored plantation home, houses a music room and library.

We stayed in this beautiful townhouse from 1/12/09 to 1/17/09, and enjoyed it so much that we were reluctant to leave the property for other vacation activities. The upstairs deck turned out to be the very best spot we found anywhere on Maui for whale watching ... including the unnecessary boat excursion we booked on our last day on Maui. Location is walking distance from a wonderful shopping and dining area. Neighbors were all quiet, considerate and friendly. The owners were very nice (Thanks again, Jacqueline), and prepared with many helpful suggestions concerning our dining and entertainment, and we certainly hope to visit again.

The photos do not do this place justice and that is the first time I can say that from an internet experience. The house was lovely, fully equipped with everything imaginable - bikes, surfboards, internet, outdoor equipment, great location. Beautiful. We had other guests who were vacationing come into our villa and were in awe of how much nicer our place was.

Very comfortable for our 6 guests as all could sleep in bedrooms. 8 would see 2 sleeping in the loungeroom (which was large and comfortable).

Property was very clean and well maintained.

I would suggest that whoever stays gets up the clubhouse promptly to register vehicles as we were the recipients of some notices on our windows. Fines do apply if this is not adhered to.

After this experience, going back to a hotel would be a hard call. If I revisit Maui, I will definitely stay again. I have also passed on the website details to the other guests, who were frequent visitors to Maui. Hopefully this will lead to some repeat business for this villa.

Jacqueline was lovely to work with.

Very, very enjoyable time had by all.

The 30 acre Puamana property is an enjoyable and relaxing spot. Just a short walk to Old Town. The unit met all of our needs, sleeping six( 2 couples and 2 seperate singles) allowing us to have a great time on Maui. We were able to eat in as often as we wanted along with great BBQ in the back next to ocean. A few ants outside, just follow suggestions of NO Foods left on countertops overnite and empty trash nitely. Would stay again especially in this unit. Get as much info on the unit you are trying to rent, since they vary in location - size and even appointments.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities
