The ocean out one door, Miminegash pond out the other - Seashore Cottage is situated on 250' of oceanfront sandy beach. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets from the 37' long screened porch. Walk for miles on a beautiful sand beach. Stroll to the harbour to purchase fresh seafood off a local fishing boat in season. Be captivated by the sights of seals frolicking in the ocean waves.

This charming cottage is nestled on a quiet peninsula in the 'Sunsets and Seascapes' region. It's minutes from Miminegash, which is a stop on the scenic North Cape Coastal Drive. Miminegash is home to Seaweed Pie Cafe famous for, you guessed it, seaweed pie. Irish moss is harvested by horse from the waters directly in front of Seashore Cottage.

Perfect vacation rental!!

This cottage was exactly what we expected and more. Very private, beautiful setting in a quiet area of PEI. We loved our stay here! Our two children, 3 and 5 found this the perfect spot to play and relax. We had a wonderful time and would recommend this cottage to anyone interested in a place to relax and soak up time with your family in a beautiful location. Not a detail was forgotten from large beach towels to toys for the children and a fully equipped kitchen. We also loved that we were able to do our laundry while on vacation, allowing us to pack less.

Excellent location. Beach front with beautiful sunsets, starry skies, refreshing breezes. The cottage is extremely well stocked with everything from beach, bath, and kitchen towels, appliances, books and games, beach umbrella, everything you need for the kitchen, and the very important lobster pot! We had the best tasting lobster. I don't think you could ask for nicer accommodations. We love Prince Edward Island! And we recommend Matthew's Deep Sea Fishing. Seashore Cottage is a fabulous place to stay!

Excellent Family vacation cotage

We found the Seashore Cottage to be exactly as advertised. Cottage was clean & comfortable, with all the required amenities for a week long family vacation. On site laundry allowed us to pack lightly. Our two children (10 & 12) loved their rooms.
We visited the cottage in early July, and the weather was perfect. We also valued the safe environment that allowed them to spend hours finding treasure on the beach while we relaxed. The few people we encountered on the beach were all friendly, and often offered suggestions on local beaches, stores, and restaurants.
The location allowed us to easily explore the island's west coast, and it was also an easy day trip to 'Anne's Land'.
While I was originally a skeptic, I now know that a trip would not be complete without a slice of Seaweed Pie. Not at all what I expected!

Just like the pictures

This is truly a beautiful place. It is hard to pick a vacation spot for your family with just a few pictures. But what you see listed here is what you get. A clean, modern comfortable home with everything we needed for our stay. A private location on the ocean with the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. My Children ages 10, 8, & 1 loved it.We loved walking the empty miles of beaches collecting stones, shells, sea glass, even a sand dollar. I would recommend this rental to any of my friends and family, actually I did. My family anxiously awaits our opportunity to return.
