This charming townhouse villa is located in beautiful Dorado, town located approximately 20 minutes northwest of San Juan with easy access via an expressway. The villa is minutes away from the beach and 5 golf courses. It is close to movie theatres, supermarkets, pharmacies, fast-food restaurants, ice-cream parlors and fine restaurants. The villa is located inside a tranquil and safe neighborhood with controlled access. The neighborhood offers 1 gazebo for activities, 1 communal pool and 2 playgrounds. The villa is fully equipped and has 3 comfortable bedrooms that sleep 9, 2 1/2 bathrooms, a balcony and closed garage that fits one automobile. Close attractions to the west include the Arecibo Observatory, Camuy Caverns and the Barceloneta Prime Outlets Shopping Mall among other attractions. Attractions to the east are Old San Juan, El Yunque Rain Forest, Plaza las Americas (largest shopping mall in the Caribbean), Casa Bacardi Distillery, Art Museum among other attractions.

Close Attractions: Renting a car is recommended. Travel time from Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (Code SJU) is approximately 35 minutes. Villa is very close to: two hotels (Dorado Beach Hotel and Embassy Suites) with restaurants, bars and golf courses and to fast food restaurants, fine restaurants, 2 grocery stores and a 24 hour pharmacy among other stores in town. Approximate Driving Times: (20 minutes): Plaza las Americas, largest shopping mall in the Caribbean (15 minutes): Bacardi Rum Distillery (25 minutes): Prime Outlets Shopping Mall in the town of Barceloneta (30 minutes): San Juan, historical city with shops, restaurants, bars and fortresses - Museum of Art (1 hour drive): Rio Camuy Cave Park, where the world's 2nd longest river cave is located and The Arecibo Observatory. The Arecibo Observatory is the world's largest single-dish radio telescope and recognized as one of the most important national centers for research in radio astronomy, planetary radar and terrestrial aeronomy.

The property matched what we expected from the pictures - it is a spacious house and was clean. Four of us stayed in the house, but there was definitely room for more. The kitchen has new appliances, and there is a washer and dryer, which comes in very handy for washing your beach towels. The owners are very friendly and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed.

If you don't mind driving to a beach (the best public one is Cerra Gordo - about a 10-15 minute drive from the apt), this is a great place to stay. The pool looked small, but I did not use it. The only complaint we had was the neighbor's alarm - it was very loud and could be heard inside our apartment, but the property itself was nice, well-maintained, and comfortable.
