Built in 2007, Hali'i Kai (Hawaiian for 'whale watching') is a luxury oceanfront condominium property on the Waikoloa Beach Resort. This stunning oceanfront site is built along the Waikoloa Beach Golf Course and is adjacent to the famed Hilton Waikoloa Hotel. It is a short drive to Anaeho'omalu Bay (A-Bay), the Kings' Shops, the Queen's Marketplace and the Waikoloa Beach Marriott.
This beautiful Ki Puka floorplan villa was originally 3 bedrooms but has been furnished as a 2 bedroom with the third bedroom set-up as a den/study with a fold-out sofa sleeper. Features include luxurious furnishings, a gourmet kitchen, granite counter tops throughout, air conditioning and high speed internet. There is a large flat screen TV with DVD player in the living room and in each of the bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has a queen bed. The sofabed in the den can be converted into a queen size bed for the condo to accommodate up to 6 people. The lanai features an outdoor living and dining area with a built-in wet bar and spectacular views of the ocean!
Hali'i Kai is a special retreat with touches like the Ocean Club Pavilion featuring a beautiful swimming pool, a heated whirlpool spa, and an ocean-side restaurant. This gated oceanfront community provides true resort living for discriminating guests. From here, it's only a short drive to the Hilton's incomparable Kohala Spa and ocean-side restaurants, two championship golf courses, and variety of imaginative shops that round out Waikoloa Resort life.
PLEASE NOTE: The Hali'i Kai Association collects a resort fee of $10.00 + tax per day for each reservation (not per person), with a maximum amount of $300 + tax per stay. The resort fee allows guests access to the property and Ocean Club facilities and includes the following:
1. Two electronic entry gate key cards
2. Parking pass
Guest must register with South Kohala Management and will also be required to register and pay the resort fee directly to the Front Desk at Hali'i Kai upon arrival. Hali'i Kai also requires a credit card to be kept on file with a $100 authorization hold placed on the card for loss or unreturned gate cards. Resort fee applies to all guests and is subject to change with 60-days notice by the Hali'i Kai Association of Apartment Owners.
Guests of this property will be serviced by a professional management company with a check-in office conveniently located within the Waikoloa Resort. Our stay was everything we hoped it would be. Hali'i Kai is a beautiful property and 14H a fantastic unit. The staff in the pool area is excellent, particularly Ben. Loved having the pool so close and the bar and grill that is located in the pool area. Shopping and restaurants in the Villages is great and so convenient. The view from 14H is beautiful and the sunsets amazing. The kitchen was well-equipped. The ceiling fans add to the comfort. The art work is original and beautiful.
