Serenity Shores is a lovely beachfront home on Diamond Point located between Port Townsend and Sequim on the Olympic Peninsula. Serenity is situated in a wonderful location with incredible views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Protection Island (wildlife sanctuary tours), Mt. Baker, Victoria B.C., Dungeness Spit and the most beautiful sunsets you've ever experienced.
Wake up to deer in the yard, baby seals on the beach, seagulls and magnificent eagles searching for their breakfast. Adventuresome beach walks, sunbathing, water activities and relaxation are just the start of your fun. But you'll want to venture out and explore this beautiful Peninsula area with all it has to offer. Enjoy the breathtaking experience of Hurricane Ridge, the many hiking trails nearby in the Olympics, walk Dungeness Spit/play golf, or shop til you drop in nearby Port Townsend. Music festivals, fairs, wineries, lavender farms, shopping and restaurants (7-Cedars Casino) are right there. (Or hop on the ferry to Victoria for the day.)
Relaxing, sunbathing, beachcombing, boating, sleeping on the enclosed deck under the stars, BBQ on the beach or enjoy a cozy indoor fire (or beach fire) without even leaving Serenity can feel wonderful as well. Children, pets and smokers are always welcome of course!
NOTE: Serenity Shores Beachfront Home has been awarded the 2014 Best of Sequim Award in the Vacation Home Rental category by the US Commerce Association (USCA)!

FIVE STAR ~ Spent the weekend at Serenity Shores and it was a delightful experience. We had planned on Sunday dinner out, but it was so pleasant where we were at - we just purchased some food and had dinner at the beach house and enjoyed the surroundings. My dog wandered away and we were out looking for him. After a couple of hours a found notice was posted and several people contacted me that they knew where the dog was. A great beach house and a great community. You could not ask for more. Had a wonderful time.
We had a wonderful stay at Serenity Shores this last weekend. Four gals celebrating my mother's 75th birthday. Couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. Cheri is wonderful to work with, attentive and helpful every step of the way. Their home is fully equipped, clean and comfortable. And you can't beat the view! The entire north wall is lined with windows looking out to the water, Protection Island, the San Juan's and Victoria, Canada. (In fact, my wireless carrier thought I was in Canada!)
It's a quiet neighborhood by itself but just minutes to Sequim and Port Townsend. We also recommend Hurricane Ridge and Port Angeles. Don't forget to get your fresh crab from the shack on 101 before heading in for the night!
We were sorry to leave. The girls are already planning their next trip! Thanks Cheri!
Our second stay at Serenity Shores was just as great as our first stay last year. This time we relaxed more and explored less than we did on our first stay, and were rewarded with beatiful, clear, warm early-summer weather and lots of great opportunities to watch the resident eagles, porpoises and seals.
Communication with the owner and house caretaker is very good, and the house, property and location are excellent. We love this place and hope to be able to return soon.
Serenity shores is a great name for this wonderful house. My husband and I came here with another couple for a weekend getaway and had a blast. The property is directly on the water and has it is own private boat launch. The beach is fantastic for walking along, and we even got to watch a pod of dolphins when we were there. As for inside the house the kitchen is very well equipped and has a nice relaxing feel to it. The beds are very comfortable as well. The house is set at a perfect location for going into sequim or port townsend to sightsee too. We cannot wait to return
This review is overdue. I stayed at Serenity Shores in Oct 2014. The house is very comfortable and cute, and the view out the back wall of windows is great - ocean, Protection Island, seals - fabulous. It's also great for the dogs - you're right on the beach, and mine just loved investigating it all, and running on the beach. Cherie was also great - very responsive, and she's thought about everything you could need. I will definitely be back.
fantastic area and place to stay ---close to nature in all directions----would recommend to anyone. can't wait to return.
A group of friends and I have been coming back every year to Serenity Shores for quite sometime. There is something for everyone at Serenity! The view of the water and Protection Island are breath taking both inside and outside. It has an open style living, dining room, and kitchen with big windows that run the entire length of the large open space. Usually there are 7-8 of us with our dogs and no matter if you're cooking, eating at the large dining room table, or relaxing in the grand living room there is always a breathtaking view to enjoy.
Outside there is a sandy yard perfect for soaking up the sun. When the weather is not as sunny there is a glass enclosed deck perfect for outdoor dining.
There are many activities in the area as well. Tranquil walks on the beach with amazing sunsets. Sequim is just a short drive away for window shopping, groceries, restaurants etc..Also Dungeness Spit is just a short drive away for the more adventurous. You can walk all the way to the Light House and go inside for a tour.
No matter what time of year you will have a very special, relaxing getaway at Serenity Shores. We all (including our dogs) highly recommend this wonderful vacation beach home.
Also, Cheri the owner is great and very personable! Though we've never met in person we talk every year and catch up on how each other is doing. Cheri genuinely wants to make sure all her guests are comfortable and the house is always super clean and well appointed.
