Beautiful Condo, but...

We stayed here, 5 adults and 1 baby, from 9/4/10 to 9/10/10. Very big condo, huge Master and large Master Bath; beautiful modern kitchen. Nicely decorated. However, be prepared to find it ill-equipped in the way of pots, pans, bowls, utensils for cooking. Those that are there are used and abused. Poor working toaster; dirty coffeemaker. Had to buy a can opener, better wine opener (which I took home). Blinds haven't been cleaned for who knows how long. Worst complaints: Master bed needs replacement desperately (sink in a hole). Master bath needs shower renovation. Filthy pillows; bring your own (which thankfully, we did). And...noise, noise, noise as the condo sits on main loud highway and garbage trucks show up loudly every morning to pick up containers. Views are of electric poles/cables facing main highway. Sliver of bay and ocean. Walked to beach every day; short walk, which was nice; beach beautiful. Would have been nice to find a wagon in storage area to cart your stuff, though. My husband and I are landlords for a Hamptons condo, but we do things a little differently in the way of affording nice amenities to our renters and expect the same when we rent elsewhere. All in all, though, we had a nice time as a family and enjoyed the spaciousness of this condo. Be sure to visit Sharks Restaurant, Fager Island Restaurant, Seacrets and Hobbits Restaurant. Not a fan of the Boardwalk. Guess I'm too old!
