Ocean resort on a five mile long barrier island. Wonderful, wide sandy beaches are on the ocean side allowing surf, fun, and sunbathing. The other side of the island offers a quiet bay for boating, fishing, jet skiing, and kayaking. Assateague Island is nearby, offering unspoiled beaches and the opportunity to observe the natural floral and fauna. The wild ponies on Assateague are easily spotted. The world famous pony penning is in July.

Shopping, restaurants, amusement parks, boardwalk, miniature golf offer lots of entertainment..

Golf: Golf course nearby and reasonably priced. Miniature golf is everywhere, including across the street.

Not well maintained.... the condo was musty and moldy. The smell didn't go away and everything was old and worn. The pillows and bed linens were so dirty I had to go out and buy pillows and blankets to sleep on. Very disappointed.
Owner's Response: We are very sorry that this reviewer was not happy. We have rented this condo for 8 seasons and this is the first time that we have had a complaint such as this. We personally look in on the condo every couple of weeks to make sure that things are in order. The comforters on the beds were purchased this year.

We ask guests to bring their own sheets, pillowcases and towels. We check for mold and mildew continuously and the building was completely renovated down to the wall framing 3 years ago to eliminate all mold and leaks.

We have forwarded this review to our cleaning crew and were assured that each week they make every effort to have the condo clean. sanitary and odor free

I am very happy I made the reservation for this property. John's customer service is excellent and prompt. The property was very well kept and very clean. The location is very convenient for me and only a block away from the beach. The swimming pool was steps away which was a huge plus for me and my friends. The place felt very warm and a place I can say was just like home. I will reach out to John to rent this property again. Thanks!!

My family and I felt very comfortable there! Great resturants and shopping close by, nice pool, short walk to the beach. Very clean! Laudry room right in complex, very conveinent... It was a very nice place and the owners were so nice to work with! Would reccomend for sure!!!!

Friendly hosts, close to the beach

We are a family of four from Germany and stayed in this condo for a week. Marge and John are very kind, they even welcomed us in the night (after a long car trip from JFK). The beach is just a short walk away and there is a pool in the court, which we figured very convenient to relax and refresh. We can recommend this condo for families with childrens.

Property was clean, well maintained, nice location, owner provided very good customer service, yes I would recommend this property to relatives and friends. Morning walks, good area, Captains was okay, 7-11 convenient. Good for small families of 5/6. My grandchildren enjoyed the kiddie pool. I loved the first floor location due to knee injury. Will consider entire week next time.
