This year for Christmas I decided to try something new so I rented this beautiful home for a week as a Christmas present to my children, all the grandparents and grandbaby. The location was perfect as half of us lived in Kentucky and the other half lived in South Carolina. We were able to meet halfway so there was no hard driving on any of us.
This was our first family trip all of us together for a week and could have headed into dangerous waters if the quarters had been tight or less than pleasing. We had 8 adults with full blown personalities and one small baby. We were all pleased and that is a feat to get 9 people to agree on anything.
This house sealed the deal everyone loved it.It was even better than the photos! This home was so warm, cheerful, sunny, beautiful and welcoming it truely was a home away from home. I cant say enough nice things about it. The house was spotless and I mean spotless. We never heard a neighbor, the view was fabulous from the living room window and front porch. The personal touches were amazing and I loved the decorating . We had lots of room. There was a great tv, stereo, air hockey game and hot tub. Not to mention the DVD's and CD's and books there for our enjoyment. There were towels, pillows, blankets, dishes, cookware, and everything just like you were home. All we had to do was buy the food. We even had a crib there for the baby!
I would highly recommend this property to anyone. The owners were gracious, answered all our questions before we arrived and then kept right on answering questions after we arrived and called them with new questions. We were treated like family, which is the best customer service in the world. They were so thoughtful .They provided all kind of brochures of things to do in the area. They even had a list of resturaunts that they like . They told us where the stores and shopping was.
I loved the place so much I told my husband I wanted to buy it! We could see out the picture window the mountains while we ate breakfast in the kitchen. What a great way to spend a week! We all got to visit each other, see our grandbaby, let the parents go out on dates and catch up on much needed missed sleep while we babysat. This house was amazing and we will return again! It was just a perfect experience and I was recouperating from knee surgery!
