Located 5 miles south of South Haven, Michigan this spectacular newly built (completed May2007) Lake Michigan beach home is nestled in a 100 year old resort of 50 charming lake homes along Lake Michigan. Home is custom built with every amenity, including fully equipped gourmet kitchen, complete range of stainless steel KitchenAid appliances (8 burner cook top, double oven, microwave, dishwasher, ice maker, compacter, refrigerator, duet washer/dryer) with beautiful granite counter tops. Great Room has large gas log burning fireplace with 50 inch plasma TV with satellite and surround sound. Charcoal grill and patio. Master BR has elegant master bath with tiled spa shower, heated floor and towel racks. Two upstairs bedrooms have their own full bath with tub/shower, heated towel racks, etc. Resort has it's own 1200' private Lake Michigan beach, a short 5 minute walk from the home. Home is located in a quiet secluded heavily treed dunes area - great for all outdoor activities

Amazing and Beautiful Property

The pictures and descriptions do not begin to do this beautiful vacation rental justice! The area is very nice; densely wooded and private. The beach is lovely, and a short walk from the house. The house itself is astonishing. We had no idea that it would be so nice. Everything is top of the line--way nicer than anything we have seen in any other home we've rented before. The kitchen is unbelievable--custom cabinetry and granite countertops--and just about every cooking implement you could wish for--if you want to cook on vacation, haha. Each room is beautifully decorated--it looks professionally done, but is still very comfortable and cozy. We found the owners to be very easy to work with, and we didn't think their rules were unusual--they just asked that we take care of their home and their stuff. Our security deposit was returned promptly as promised--but then, we followed the rules! The house was very well stocked with everything we needed--and the large screen TV in the living room was especially appreciated in our family. We had a wonderful time, and are planning to (hopefully) go again next summer. Thanks!

WOW!!! Wonderful home this was beyond our dreams! Thank you for opening your home to us. My wife and I loved the kitchen and bedrooms and what a great master bath. Our son loved the beach he had so much fun he talks about the beach even today. The extras you have in the home for a traveler are great. All top of the line and clean. I can't tell you how important it is when you travel that the home you rent be clean. You remind us of ourselves very clean we felt right at home in your home. As you well know we have booked for next year all ready. This may become a habit for us. I would recommend your property to everyone we have rented many times in Colorado, Florida and Michigan your home was the best by far. Your pictures and discriptions are right on the money. Again thank you and can't wait until next year.

Absolutely spectacular!

We just loved the house. The house is very cozy and has all the upgraded appliances in the kitchen with everything you need to cook at home if you like. As you sit at the dining nook you have a great view of the wooded lot. We enjoyed seeing all the wild life we saw deer, squirrels and the birds that were feeding from the bird feeder. The bedrooms are wonderfully decorated and fully furnished. The bathrooms had heated towel racks and basic toiletries. (Which was a nice touch) The private beach was just down the road. We enjoyed looking for beach glass and rocks that we brought back home with us. The attention to details far exceeded our expectations. We are looking forward to going back next summer

Wonderful Vacation Home!

This home (and the area around it) is absolutely wonderful! We visited in 2007 and returned with more family in 2008. Everyone was very pleased. The house is beautiful, clean, spacious and comfortable. I wish we had more than a week to enjoy it! With a young family, it has been nice to know that we don't need to overpack. The owners have coolers, sports equipment, beach towels, beach toys, beach chairs, etc. We went to the beach everyday, took some hikes, played tennis, had a fire in the pit, grilled out, and made dinner in the gourmet kitchen. And, I can't forget the master bedroom shower! The house is a hidden gem in the woods with the private beach just a short walk down the lane. We'd go back any time!

Absolutely loved this home! The owners have taken great care to fully stock the home with every essential needed for a great vacation home. Everything was exceptionally clean which is SO important to my family. Top of the line furnishings. Beds and linens great. LOVE the washer and dryer not to mention the gourmet kitchen and ice maker. This area is so peaceful and quiet. We love the long walks on the beach and bonfires in the evening. Great spot for the kids and family to just enjoy one another. Near by town of South Haven really cute and Sherman's was a great spot for ice cream. Saugatuck and wine tours fun as well. We all look forward to coming back! Highly recommend this rental. Great people to rent from. You get more than advertised!
