Peaceful log home on a cul de sac decorated with Amish oak furniture throughout.

From the wide covered front porch enter into the living room with a wood stove, TV, family board games and comfortable seating. The dining room is off the living room and boasts a long dining table.

Off from the dining room is a large pantry with a sink and a big pie safe and the door to the spacious and level backyard.

The kitchen is roomy and equipped nicely.

There are two bedrooms downstairs. Bedroom 1 has a Queen bed. Bedroom 2 has a double bed. There are two full bathrooms on this level.

Up the rustic staircase is Bedroom #3, which is actually a wide open loft the length of the house. This loft is divided into 2 separate sleeping areas, divided by a catwalk that is 14 feet across.. Each sleeping area has a set of pyramid bunk beds (twins on top, doubles on the bottom).

From one side of the loft you have a view into the living room. From the other side you have a view of the dining room

Massanutten Mountain is located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. The region is rich in National Forest and Park land. Skyline Drive is minutes away. Washington DC is about a 2.5 hour drive from the resort.

Golf: There are 2 - 18 hole championship golf courses in the resort. There are golf profressionals and 2 pro shops as well For those that wants a family amosphere, there is mimiture golf on site as well

Quite Cul de Sac - perfect place to stay

This is a perfect home for a quiet vacation in Massanutten. The home is very clean, neat & comfortable. As soon as you walk in the door, it feels like you are home! The kitchen is spacious with everything that you need. I love the open air feel of the log home. I visited the resort in January of this year. It was damp & cold outside but inside the home was very warm & inviting. The downstairs sleeping quarters are very private. The two bedrooms are at the opposite side of the house, with each having their own bathroom. The living room is nicely furnished. There is a large dining room table.... big enough for everyone to play cards & games. The owner has a special place in the one bedroom closet with brochures of places to visit in the area..... I thought that was a very nice special touch. They will also suggest nice places to eat....... great home for the price. I would highly recommend this home away from home!

Memorial Day weekend stay

We stayed at the house two nights for Memorial Day weekend with another couple, for a total of four adults and three young kids. All worked out well. The house was clean and spacious, and the kitchen was outfitted well enough so that we could prepare meals both there and on the grill on the large balcony. The kids enjoyed playing in the yard, watching occasional videos inside, and playing in the kid park near the entrance to the resort. It's about a twenty minute drive from the house to the entrance to the Shenandoah Nat'l Park so it was a pretty convenient base for hikes throughout the weekend. The owner was flexible and easy to work with.

My family stayed here for Thanksgiving, it was a great place to spread out. 3 families stayed and many others joined us on Thanksgiving day. Kitchen was large enough and equipped well enough to cook the meal. Dinning table was large and able to seat 10, we added a table and most everyone was able to eat together. The deck and front poach were great places for gathereing and the kids loved being able to explore the outdoors, we are thankful they didn't find the 'bear' they were 'hunting'. The house is on a flat lot with no steps to enter. The owner was most helpful in making last minute arrangements, could not have been more helpful. The house was as stated. The kids loved the catwalk and loft area. We were 20 minutes from other family who lived in Harrisonburg. We enjoyed the Log Cabin Barbque and fresh bakery items at the Cafe down off the highway. Would love to stay again.

Beautiful log home in a beautiful and fun resort

We had a great time visiting Massanutten resort. It was a beautiful weekend and the log home was warm and inviting. Very comfortable and relaxing setting. Nice deck facing the woods. There is alot to see and do at the resort. The log home is close to everything but still secluded enough to give you privacy. The home was clean and had lots of room. The owner was very friendly and informative, easy to deal with. There is so much to do at the resort or you can just relax and get away from it all. We look forward to visiting again and would recommend this place to all our friends and family. Very nice!

Wonderful Stay

I truly enjoyed my stay on this property. It was located on a quiet cul de sac so there wasn't much traffic. The interior was clean and well maintained with all the amenities of home. The living rooom and dining room were open, bright and spacious. The large kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The upstairs loft is open to the downstairs limiting privacy, which is fine for chidren. The deck in the back covered the whole back of the house, it was perfect for our bar b que! There were a few minor mechanical issues but the owner was responsive and had someone available to fix things in a timely manner, except the internet access. Overall, I would recommend this property.
