Beautiful, cozy , passive solar home is located in Angel Fire, New Mexico. There is plenty to do here, both summer and winter. The well stocked kitchen allows for numerous cooks. The upstairs master suite, with a queen size bed and single day bed has a private deck. The master bath has a step in shower and a separate jetted tub and double sinks. Downstairs, one bedroom adjoins the bathroom and has a queen size bed and access to the lower deck. The third bedroom has a full size bed. The kitchen, dining and living room are all open for lots of family togetherness. There is a queen size hide-a-bed in the living room. The roomy deck has a picnic table and porch swing. The base of the ski area is 1 mile away for downhill and cross country skiing and tubing in the winter and biking and hiking in the summer. The national forest is 1/2 mile away, the Country Club is 1 1/2 miles away for golf, tennis and basketball. Monte Verde Lake is 2 miles away for fishing and paddleboating

Location: New Mexico < USA

Nearest Airport: Albuquerque at 150 Miles
Car: necessary
We are located about 25 miles from Taos, NM and the Taos pueblo. The Vietnam Veteran's memorial is about 5 miles away. There is live theater in Angel Fire during the summer months. There is also a balloon fiesta and several local craft fairs in the area. Music from Angel Fire brings classical music to Angel Fire at the end of August through Labor Day weekend.

Angel Fire is a great place to relax and just enjoy the outdoors. There is lots of wildlife around. The hiking is great. The stars are wonderful on a clear night. Our house is pasive solar so it is light and bright and stays nice and warm in the winter thanks to the sun. You can see more info and pictures on our website. Our family just returned from a week of skiing and rented this home. What a wonderful stay and home! It had everything you needed to make a memorable vacation. The home is located in the neighborhood across the street from the ski resort and made an easy commute each morning to the lifts. We can't wait until next year!
