Nature Lover's Paradise! Any lover of outdoors will delight in this private lakeside setting. Only 5 miles from ocean surfing beaches, and 3 miles from bay sailing/windsurfing. Also 3 miles to beautiful bike path. Enjoy day trips to Newport (10 miles), Jamestown (6 miles), Wickford, Mystic Conn., and Foxwoods Casino. Take the ferry to Block Island or the train to New York or Boston for the day. Very convenient to Wakefield (5 miles), a lovely town with numerous amenities (supermarkets, shops, movie theater, playgrounds, etc.) If you prefer to simply relax, the house is 50 feet from pristine, beautiful Indian Lake. The hammock awaits!

The house is great,has a well equipped kitchen,and the deck is a great place to eat dinner. This is a serene location in harmony with nature, the owners have landscaped the property with minimal disturbance of the natural beauty of the area. The house is located right of Route 1 so is very convenient for day tours. The lake is lovely and the availability of a canoe is an added bonus. The only slight disappointment was not being able to swim in the lake. We would visit again.
