  • All rates are subject to 9% Vermont Meals and Room Tax, a $225 Housekeeper's fee and a Security Deposit. The amount of the Security Deposit is dependent on the duration of stay, amount of guests and amount of children.
    There is a $100 pet fee for each accompanying animal whether dog or cat.
    All additional costs will be deducted from the Security Deposit.
  • Towels, soap, sheets, linens, High Speed Wireless Internet, Landscaping and two bags for trash use are included.
    Normal costs are electric and propane. There is a well so water is not a considered charge/utility.

  • The bedrooms are all quite comfortable in size. The three children's bedrooms have four desks. The bedroom with a double bed had a porch that we converted to the other child's room, hence there is a double and a twin, each room having it's own desk. Antique furniture throughout home.

Mahogany Steinway Grand Piano, all wood floors and Persian rugs; all tile baths. 2000 square foot deck across the back with views of the Upper Valley. Patio area off the bedrooms with table and chairs, server and rocking chairs. The front porch has antique wicker sofa and chairs and a porch swing. Beautiful rock walls with perennial gardens. Water is mountain spring water from well on site. Tennis, Spa and Golf available at Dartmouth and/or nearby facilities. Maid, Daily Caretaker and Chef Services Optional at guest's request at additional cost. All utilities including: final maid service, phone service, heat (propane,) electricity is the responsibility of guest deducted from Security Deposit.

Have it all: Romance, Family, Adventure, History!: This home offers a complete vacation! Swim, boat or catch frogs in the 1 acre pond/wade in the 1/2 acre baby pond.Pick wild berries, hike to the 35 acres on the other side across from the home site which abuts the Appalachian Trail: highest point (or one of the highest points) in Norwich. In winter, the land dividing us and the 35 acres is an official snowmobile trail and often our guests go snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and we have even had teenagers who have built snowboard effects and go snowboarding right on the property. The pond is used for ice skating or hockey. Open the french doors that run across the length of the house and extend the existing 2000 square foot deck with a five foot stainless steel bar-b-que and patio furniture and enjoy the view of the complete Upper Valley.You can follow the Connecticut River for miles.Never more than about a mile from the famed Dan and Whits General Store or 5 from Hanover or 15 minutes from West Lebanon and always completely isolated.

The Art: The Art is insured, numbered and photographed. Our guests are required to sign a copy of the photographs upon completion of the Proposal.

Winter Sports: We are a half hour from the Dartmouth Skiiway and not more than 30-45 minutes to the main skiiways of the area such as Okemo, Killington, Pico, etc. Because of the terrain and expanse of the property, we have had many of our guests children snowboard on the premises. Also, snowshoe, snowmobile, cross-country ski, and also ice skate and play hockey on our pond. The possibilities are endless.
