Recently remodeled and updated home built in 1994 has high ceilings and great views of the lake. Lower level has huge 1100 s.f. game room with pool table, ping pong, etc. Perfect for the kids to play downstairs while the adults talk upstairs. Great family vacation

This house and location were perfect for our very first "family" vacation. The house was clean and well appointed and we had everything we needed. From an 11 year old to a 67 year old there was plenty to do for everyone and everyone had fun. Plus, the house is spacious so we were very comfortable. We'll definitely reserve again. Owner is very nice and took very good care of us.
Owner's Response: We're so glad that you enjoyed your stay, and work hard to make sure the home is comfortable and the setting is ideal for families on vacation! We love family gatherings and believe our home and setting is perfect for these types of gatherings. We always hear that one of the favorite things to do out there is feed the deer - they're so tame they'll come up and eat out of your hand!

Fabulous, Great, Wonderful......peaceful

The home is fabulous. I wish we would have had more people to share it with. It was just 4 of us two being 6 year old twins. They had so much fun playing in the home and outside. They played hard even took naps every afternoon. The area the home is at is absolutely beautiful. The home has everything you can possibly need. We ate out one night. The rest we enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen. The deer were great to watch. This is by far the nicest well equipped home we have stayed in and would love to rent it again. It was so peaceful. The game room was out of this world. I took so many pictures and the decorations are wonderful. It makes you feel very proud to be in Texas. Thanks to Lora and Michael for sharing there beautiful home with us. The home feels like home if that makes since, it’s very comfortable we felt we were at a friend’s house.

This is an AWESOME HOME. We were lucky enough
to meet our gracious host on our arrival. The View was
Spectacular with a wonderful deck to enjoy the early mornings and sunset. The GameRoom was Unique and had everything to keep the young and old busy.
It was well stocked with anything you could think of and
decorated with special touches everywhere. We had 8
and there was plenty more room for more. The deer
are very friendly and the dock is well maintained. The
Kitchen was very large with a great view and well stocked.
Bring plenty of food because you won't want to leave.
Ruffin Barefoot will bring you a well maintained boat to
your dock. He is friendly and knowledgable.

We visited the end of September and will defininately return.

PERFECT family vacation home

My family met here for a reunion Sept 12-15 and had a wonderful time. This house HAS IT ALL, comfort, room for a large family, spacious kitchen with everything you could need to cook, many areas to gather for children, teens and adults, games, books, the game room is AWESOME... I could go on and on. The boat dock is larger than it looks and the little kids loved the paddle boat. We are already planning our next stay and everyone we have told about it wants to book it too! This house rates a 10... Excellent just doesn't do it justice!!
