Well-appointed accommodations in a lovely setting

I've stayed at this beautiful home in each of the past two summers. The house itself is very nice--new construction with a spacious kitchen, brand-new appliances, comfortable furniture and well-appointed bedrooms. The amazing views from the wrap-around deck are truly memorable. The home overlooks the Gale River Valley and Cannon Mountain and on clear days Mount Washington is in view. In short, this is a perfect locale for a quiet country getaway.

Relaxing Visit

My visit to this property was very relaxing. The house is beautiful and the deck is a great place to sit back and enjoy yourself. The setting is very peaceful. It is very spacious and the kitchen is wonderful for making meals with friends and family.

Also, the mountains are spectacular. A great vist and we would definitely return.

The perfect getaway.

I've stayed in this house many times and it has always been a wonderful experience. While it's only a few hours drive I always feel like I'm a million miles away from my hectic life.

The town and surrounding area are quaint and peaceful. The mountains and forests are beautiful and inspiring. The house is perfectly comfortable and the owners are good people who are very responsive and always want you to be happy with your stay.

I could spend the week just sitting on the back deck staring out at the mountains and be happy. However, within 15 minutes drive are several amazing nature walks, great skiing, and the shops and small town charm of Littleton. And to top it all off, Polly's Pancakes are right up the lane!

If you are a nature-lover who likes to escape every now and then, I would urge you to come to the White Mountains and stay in this house.

Outstanding White Mountain vacation property!

Our experience at this vacation property was wonderful!
The property was beautiful, and immaculate, and the owners were very pleasant and accomodating. We had a great time, look forward to returning again next year.

we did not enjoy our stay at this house

We found several things about our stay here to be uncomfortable and will not return to this house. First, we had to bring our own linens and towels, which was very inconvenient. Second, we were required to do a full cleaning of the house before we left - not just broom clean and everything in the right place - a full cleaning with soaps and sprays and sponges. That's not my idea of a vacation. Finally, the owner made us leave a day early because he mixed up the lease dates and booked another family overlapping our stay. And as if this wasn't enough, he never reimbursed us for that night, as he promised to do. The are many other houses in the area that are just as attractive and much less hassle and risk.
Owner's Response: Tenant's recollections are faulty.

Linens are an available option that this renter chose not to use.

The only cleaning requirement is to leave our home in the shape you found it. Nowhere do we specify the level of cleaning she describes.

Tenant failed to review lease agreement and signed for the wrong dates. We accomodated her to the extent our calendar allowed. Since both parties were cuplable, I split the cost of the last night 50-50.
