Provincetown Vacation Rental condo

Three summers in a row now I have rented this condo for a week and I could not be happier with the arrangement. This bright, comfortable one bedroom condo is exactly as it is represented in the description.

The unit is new, clean, nicely appointed and very well maintained. The kitchen is completely equipped- full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, utensils, plates, bowls, cups, coffee maker-just like home. The living room is very comfortable with a nice TV and sound system. In fact, the music collection in the unit is so interesting and eclectic that I discovered some new artists with whom I was previously unfamiliar. There is even a bookshelf full of reading material to supplement whatever you may bring along.

There are two window air conditioning units-one in the dining/living room area and one in the bedroom- so that one can stay completely cool and comfortable, something very important to me. The bedroom has a fun round bed, a small TV and plenty of shelf space to unpack your clothes. The bathroom is clean and includes a shower with full tub.

It is a pleasure to do business with the owner. He is honest, forthright and responsive- a gentleman for sure. My security deposit was promptly refunded each year after my stay.

I recommend renting a bike when in PTown as this is the most efficient, effective mode of transportation given the small, often crowded streets. From this condo one can easily get to the beach or anywhere in town on bicycle. The bike paths in the dunes are great. The gyms are only a few minutes away on bike.

There is no on-site parking but this is not a deal breaker as the owner provides a parking space at his house less than a mile away. It is an easy walk or a cheap cab ride between parking and the condo. Actually, if you are adventurous Beto will shuttle you back on his motorbike which is quite fun. Once in town, I almost never need my car anyway since I get a bike.

For many years before I discovered this condo I stayed in guesthouses when in PTown. Frankly, I found them to be far more expensive and not nearly so private as this condo. For me, this is a better arrangement hands down. I would recommend staying here to anybody who enjoys PTown.
