The home is located on a quiet, dead-end street, 7/10ths of a mile to Cockle Cove beach and 3/10ths mile to the bike trail. The home has a fenced-in backyard with a wooden swing set. Great Vacation Home

This clean, newer home has everything as described. Has everything needed, from a well stocked kitchen to fun and games for the kids on a rainy day. Great place for everyone, although one bedroom is strickly for kids (bunk-beds). A nice beach is within easy walking distance, and Chatham Villiage is just a short ride. We will return again, and would highly recommend this home to a friend.

Grest vacation

We had a wonderful stay in Chatham. The house was just has showed on the pictures with everything we needed. Tis house was perfect for kids. We would definitly go back. The only thing was there was so much seaweeds in the ocean and on the beach that swiming was not easy and not so much fun.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Exactly What We Wanted

We just returned from our stay at this lovely cottage. It is just as described and pictured on this site. The house was clean and bright. The kitchen was well stocked. Our kids loved the bunk beds. The outside shower was great for after the beach. We loved Cockle Cove beach, and visted Hardings beach and Ridgevale beach also. It is close to downtown Chatham and Harwichport. The owner was at the house upon our arrival, and was just as nice in person as he was on the phone setting up the rental. We would and have recomended this house to friends. We would love to return to this cottage again next year.

We love this place!

This will be our third summer returning to this wonderful little home! My family and I enjoy everything about this house. It is very clean, private, and close to beaches, shops, and School House Pond! If you have small children you must check out the great beach at School House pond. This really makes the perfect family vacation spot. I hope we will be returning to this house for many years to come.

Perfect for our family

This house was perfect for our famiy. We have two young children who loved the bunk beds. The fact that it is a ranch was especially appealing because we did not have to worry about our little one and steps. The other bedrooms were also good sized, one of which had a bathroom en suite. There was another full bath, and an outsude shower which was great for after-the-beach. The kitchen was large and well stocked. There were two dining areas: a large table that seats 6+ and an island with bar stools, where the kids ate breakfast every morning. Living room was comfortable and certainly large enough. House is well maintained in a quiet area, and is very convenient to many local beaches, restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay there again.
