House Location:
The house is located directly on Tuscarora Lake. The homepage rental picture was taken from the lake. There is a large backyard for kids and adults to play games, etc. Lots of privacy. You only have neighbors on the north side of the house but there is a garage and hedgerow separating the rental house and the neighbor's house. Notice: Homepage picture, on the right is a stone parking area which is on the left of the garage. On the right of the garage is another stone parking area, then lawn, hedgerow, then the neighbors lawn.
Swimming:
You'll find the best swimming at the dock. NO weeds or muck, rocky bottom. Clear water without zebra mussels. We have one of the only remaining lakes in NYS without weeds and zebra mussel problems.
Special Features:
Great location for families attending Caz, Colgate, Morrisville, and more near-by graduations. Enjoy our apple and pear trees in the late summer and fall. The water is warmest in Aug and Sept. After labor day, the boat traffic decreases. Although, boat traffic is generally low during weekdays. Tuscarora Restaurant (Monday is wing night) is within a short boat or car drive but can be accessed by foot. There is a dinning deck for eating outside.
