This beach house is located in a beach association called 'Laurel Beach'. The home is located about 100 yards away from the beach. The association offers the use of tennis courts, a basketball court, a baseball field, and a club-house. The beach is one of the nicest beaches in all of Fairfield Country. The beach is a sandy 3 mile beach which is great to go for long beach walks. The home has been completely updated, but without losing the old charm of a traditional beach home.

The home is located in Milford, CT in an area called Laurel Beach. The beach is incredible, and barely used by the association. Many times you will find yourself as the only people on the beach. This is a relaxing environment to go on vacation. The home is a traditional beach house that has been updated, but still has the old world beach type charm.

  • The weekly fee is $1,800.00 a week. Min- Weekly stay required during summer months. Bi-weekly preferred. The cottage is available for ether weekly, weekend, or 3 day min rentals for off season only.
    Weekend is check in on Friday at 12:00PM and check out on Sunday at 4:00PM (weekend rate is $400.00)

    Their is a 125.00 cleaning charge.
    Each pet that stays at home is an additional 150.00 a week.

    ** Prefer to rent on a Weekly basis **Will discount for longer stays over 2 plus weeks.

    In order to secure the dates I will need the following, an email to laurelbeach53@yahoo.com confirming your dates and intention to rent, a signed agreement within 5 days of the confirmation email date sent to the following below address and 50% of the total amount paid as a deposit fee. The additional 50% of your rental fee must be paid prior to May 1st 2008.

Fabulous Rental House

We rented this house in August for a family reunion/vacation. The house was much nicer than in the pictures. We were all thrilled with the size of the rooms, the excellent furniture and decorations, the gourmet kitchen and the proximity to the beach. The kids loved playing in the yard under the huge tree then running to the beach which was only a 2 minute walk. I grew up on the Connecticut shore and NEVER considered vacationing on the beach. I had no idea what a beautiful shoreline Milford had and the lovely homes lining the boardwalk. The kids spent hours playing on the jetty seaching for crabs and building sand castles. It was truly a vacation to remember. I would HIGHLY recommend this house and the person who owns it. The only part we would have enjoyed more is that Laurel Beach Association has a beautiful old 'club house' with a bowling alley and games inside which was locked at all times. That would have put the vacation over the top if the kids could have played there on the rainy days:)!

2nd Annual Family Vacation

This was our second year staying in this beach house and once again had the best family stay-cation! We had more than enough room for the 6 adults\4 children for our 2 week stay. The beach is definately the best in CT and having it right across the street is why we love coming to this beach house and hope that the home will be available next year :)

Beautiful even in December!

We rented this house to host a family reunion around Christmas. Two families with toddlers fit in the house with room to spare! The house is child friendly with a little childproofing for the younger crowd upon arrival. School aged or older will love the games and books on site! The house is very clean and perfectly oriented for socializing, with a very large modern kitchen. There is a beautiful deck we would have enjoyed if the weather were just a little warmer. The yard is small but the house is a very short walk to the beach (2 minutes) which I'm sure is even better during CT beach months. There is a wood burning stove in the room adjacent to the kitchen (which we didn't use because of the toddlers) but was a great place to kick back and relax even without a fire. The wood stove area takes the place of the dining room which was a minor inconvenience. The living room was very comfy and had plenty of seating for our two families plus a guest or two. The bedrooms were larger than expected and nicely decorated, each with their own color scheme and beautiful quilts. The master bedroom is awesome, it's own little haven, so if you're booking with a group of friends, be sure to put your dibs in early. The house is close to the merrit parkway and 95 (within 5 minutes of a main road) situated among other beautiful beach houses. The owner consistently communicated with us making our rental experience a pleasant one. Please note the rental amount listed on homeaway is incorrect, please contact the owner for the current rental price. We would definitely rent this house again and would highly recommend it to others without hesitation.
