Beautiful 12 room lake front house with an spectacular view of Lake Winnisquam. It is also close to ski resorts, snow mobiling and ice fishing. The residence is in the quiet north end of the lake; it enjoys a long dock and a 'no wake zone' area. The entry way is on the middle floor which has a large living room with TV and VCR, 1/2 Bath, large kitchen which seats 8, and a room off the kitchen overlooking the lake which seats 4-6 people. There is an internet connection in the kitchen and a washer/dryer. The upstairs has two bedrooms, one with a king bed, a second bedroom has 2 queen size beds. There is a full bath. Downstairs walks right out to the lake and also has two bedrooms, one with a king bed, the other with 2 full beds. Ideal house for two families. Additional space upstairs and downstairs for a blowup bed.

There is patio furniture to use. A strip mall with a Supermarket is 10 minutes away. Wier's beach is 15 minutes away. Tangor outlets are about 30 minutes away (South on 93, exit 20)

There's alot to be said about Solitude! What a fabulous house in the middle of the woods on an incredible lake. This house has it all. The owner definately makes it feel like home away from home with all the perks. Really enjoyed sitting alongside the lake and listening to the sounds of nature. The wildlife here is awesome. Loved the loons, ducks and chipmunks. The short drive to the quaint town of Meredith has alot to offer, with great restaurants and shopping. Will recommend this house to my friends as a place for a peaceful and relaxing getaway destination.

Very well appointed, beautiful location on the lake for a relaxing vacation, yet a short ride for shopping or other activities. Was definitely worth the expense for a great week.

Beautiful Peaceful Home With Great Views!

My family and I rented this beautiful home from May 7th thru May 18th, 2009. We enjoyed the view of the lake, the wildlife and the amenities. We caught plenty of fish right from the dock. The ping pong room was fun too. The house layout could accommodate two families easily. The amenties were good, the location was perfect not to far away from restaurants or attractions. Meredith is truly the heart of the lakes region. Meredith village offers a wide variety of restaurants, shops and arts and crafts. The owner provided good customer service. You can't go wrong with this house.

This place was great where 2 families spent a week with plenty of space and beautiful lake view. Great paddle boating in this no wake area. Overall a great place to vacation.
