Lots of space, but that's about it..

This house was very spacious, it was plenty of space for 10 adults on a ski weekend. The basement had a big LCD tv with video game systems hooked up and board games available. However, when we arrived, the hot tub cover had been left off by a previous guest and there was a foot of ice, so we were unable to use the hot tub (which was one of the reasons we stayed at this house!). Calls to the owner went unanswered the first night. He left a message promising to have someone drop off the extra keys, which never happened. Also, the wireless was out the first day (but in his voicemail the next day, he told us where the router was so we could re-start it) so we then had wireless. The house was mostly clean. Upon arrival, we saw footprints (granted it was a snowy weekend) in the living/dining area; there were some kind of smears/stains in the dining room; there were TONS of dead bugs in the lighting fixture above the dining table. I would stay again IF we could make sure that all of these things were taken care of..
Pros: Spacious, Good Location
Cons: A little dirty, hot tub not in working condition, poor communication during stay
Owner's Response: We apologize for the difficulty. Unfortunately the previous guest did leave the cover off in sub zero weather, which has caused much difficulty and damage. We are trying to repair but must wait until tempretures are above freezing. We are also having the wireless router replaced. As to cleanliness meantioned, we work very hard with our cleaning team and will do our best to correct these issues.
