Just what we needed

After an incredibly hectic year, my husband and I wanted to get away and just relax in a quiet place for a few days on our first wedding anniversary. This cottage was exactly what we needed. Even though it was in October and we did not spend any time in the water, we still had a wonderful time relaxing on the private dock watching the sunrise or by the campfire we made at night. The cottage had all of the amenities we needed (including wifi which was great!), and was also very close to stores and restaurants as well as other local attractions when we wanted to venture out. I also recommend driving up to the Castle in the Clouds for hiking, it was fantastic! The owner also allowed us to bring our pup Winston which was perfect as we practically bring him everywhere. We will definitely be coming back to enjoy this cottage again in the summer. Highly recommended!

My boyfriend and I came here the weekend after Labor day and it was amazing! Perfectly sized, everything you need and the most breathtaking views. We sat outside the dock every night and every day with our chairs and enjoyed the view. We cooked on the grill and use then fire pit.. Had dinner in town and took a boat ride on the mount Washington. The owner was so fantastic and we are deff coming back next year.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
