Barrow is famous for it's beautiful panorama of Atlantic coastal scenery and it's magnificent sandy beach which was chosen as the location for David Lean's film 'Ryan's Daughter.' It is also home to Tralee Golf Course designed by Arnold Palmer and described as one of the world's most scenic and spectacular links golf courses. The nearby village of Ardfert has an historic Cathederal and boasts several pubs where you can enjoy traditional music and good food. Fenit has a wonderful 110 berth marina and Tralee Sailing Club. It also has a pier and lighthouse. Angling and Pleasure craft are available for hire here. Vibrant Tralee town offers excellent restaurants, pubs, Siamsa Tire National Folk Theatre, Omniplex cinema and lively nightlife. It also has the Aquadome Leisure complex, Kerry County Museum, a Greyhound Stadium, Toby World family entertainment centre and Ballybeggan Racecourse. Killarney and the Ring of Kerry are all within easy reach and offer more beautiful scenery.
