Spacious, detached property situated adjacent to the world-famous Arnold Palmer-designed Tralee Golf Course. This large house enjoys a secluded position with spectacular sea and mountain views across Tralee Bay to the Ring of Kerry. This well-equipped property has 2 large sitting rooms, a large garden plus a games room with table tennis, a small pool table and darts. A five minute walk leads to a beautiful sandy beach filmed in 'Ryan's Daughter' as well as Tralee Golf Club where you can avail of their restaurant and bar facilities. Nearby lively Tralee town offers shops, pubs, restaurants, Aqua Dome, theatre, omniplex cinema, Racecourse and Greyhound Stadium. Nearest pubs/restaurant/shops/takeaways are 4 miles away in Ardfert village where you can visit Kate Brown's pub, famous for its great food and traditional music sessions. Barrow is famous for it's beautiful panorama of Atlantic coastal scenery and it's magnificent sandy beach which was chosen as the location for David Lean's film 'Ryan's Daughter.' It is also home to Tralee Golf Course designed by Arnold Palmer and described as one of the world's most scenic and spectacular links golf courses. The nearby village of Ardfert has an historic Cathederal and boasts several pubs where you can enjoy traditional music and good food. Fenit has a wonderful 110 berth marina and Tralee Sailing Club. It also has a pier and lighthouse. Angling and Pleasure craft are available for hire here. Vibrant Tralee town offers excellent restaurants, pubs, Siamsa Tire National Folk Theatre, Omniplex cinema and lively nightlife. It also has the Aquadome Leisure complex, Kerry County Museum, a Greyhound Stadium, Toby World family entertainment centre and Ballybeggan Racecourse. Killarney and the Ring of Kerry are all within easy reach and offer more beautiful scenery.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rental rates may be paid in euros or sterling. A deposit of £200 is required at the time of booking to hold the reservation with the balance due 45 days before arrival. You may cancel with full refund, less 10% administration costs, 45 days prior to arrival. The deposit is non-refundable after that period. A Security Deposit is also required of £100 payable with the balance 45 days prior to arrival. The Security Deposit will be returned in full, 10 days after departure, assuming there are no damages.
  • Our Caretaker will meet you on the day of your departure to read the meters and collect your payment for gas and electricity used. The cost of units are: 18 cents for each electricity unit and 75 cents for each Calor gas unit.

Length 6877 yards. 'I have never come across a piece of land so ideally suited for the building of a golf course. I am happy we have one of the world's great links here' - Arnold Palmer. Close to Ballybunion, Killarney, Waterville, Dooks and Dingle golf courses. Within driving distance: Shannon, Lahinch, Adare and Dromoland golf courses.
