Kihei Vacation Rental condo

This condo is all about the Lanai! Beautiful, up close, views of the ocean. You are right on top of it! Directly below the condo you have beautiful green grass and a few steps down to the beach. In the afternoon you can watch all the wind surfers and kite surfers go by.

I didn't give this a rating of 5 because it's classy, but it is all about the location and the Lanai. 20 Minutes to Lahania, 5 minutes to Kihei and grocery store and drug store. Make sure you stop at the out door market on the way in to Kihei. They have great prices on tee shirts and nick nacks. 25 minutes to the airport and Costco and 10 minutes to Maalaea where the Aquarium is and where many of the snorkeling boats leave from.

Having a washer and dryer in the unit was nice. We over packed and could of come with half our stuff and just done a few loads of laundry. They have cable TV which is nice after a full day in the sun for the kids to veg out. They provide enough towels for both the bathroom and the beach for 6 people. The descripton of the amenities is accurate and working with the owner was a breeze via email. He was very responsive. Check in with the lock box was easy and getting to the condo is very easy off the main road.

They have a great loaner library on the 3rd floor by the elevators close to the pool. If you run out of something to read you can pick a book up there. Loved the roof top BBQ's and the view in the evening. Great ocean and mountain views from there. The elevators are close to the unit and are quick! They even have shopping carts that you can load up with your grocerys and take in the elevator to your unit so unloading was easy.

Pool was clean and great temp. They had enough lounge chairs. The afternoon tradewinds really cool the unit down and you don't miss AC.

Only negitive is that there is a tractor that comes 5 days a week at 7:15 AM to clean off the beach of coral and any seaweed that has washed up. He is only there about 15 minutes and then moves down the beach. Normally we were already up but even if we wanted to sleep in, after day 3 it didn't bother us. You might have to buy some TP and paper towels if you stay longer than 5 days. Unit has some kitchen basics like salt and pepper and syurp for breakfast. We would return again!
